Hi Dan . My wife and I both got the first Moderna vaccine yesterday. No side effects. Arm is a little sore. What isn’t sore at 67. I didn’t want to bother with the vaccine but my uncle and two cousins are doctors and I know they got it so it’s good enough for me. I drove for 34 years and enjoy watching someone else work. I pulled flat bed for a couple years. Most dangerous job in trucking in my opinion. Safe travels Dan.
Greenwood is the historic location of Tulsas Black Wall Street. Also the location of the Tulsa race massacre. Ton of history in that area. Be safe out there.
Dan I just got the Covid-19 Moderna Shot on March 20th, and i did not have "ANY ISSUE WHAT SO EVER", no pain, no headache, nothing at all. And I will get my 2nd shot on April 17th, and hope that will be the very same, with no issues at all. Take Care, Mark!
Good move to get vaccinated. i got the Pfizer vaccine and I only had a slight headache and was tired the day afterward for both shots. Truck sounds good.
The construction delivery went well and so did the reload, you been pushing hard, the run down to El Paso will be a straight shot and that’s one of the best run cities in Texas, safe during and better weather while you get the vaccine
This video is like a day in my life. Ready mix concrete driver. Always heading towards the traffic to fix the street or whatnot. Always some job site that's half setup. In downtown Chicago with their love of 11'6" bridges. Fun fun fun 😁 Heck a job like that we usually don't get out of the truck. Back up, unload the concrete, then head back to the plant for another one. They are always in a rush.
I have not made it this far yet I'm still in 2017, lol. Your live feed from the kitchen just before Christmas. I really enjoy the videos and thank you for taking the time to make and thank Teresa for giving you time to do them.
Oh man that loves is a mile from my house. If I would have seen you I would have bought you lunch or dinner. Mabey next time. Thanks for the videos Dan and stay safe...
Was in Watertown Mass. One time and the road we come in on us on one side of the railroad and the place we was to unload us on the other side our trailer was 13.6 and all the under passes was 11 feet. After I don't remember how many under passes we found a place to drive over the tracks. We didn't have GPS back then had to rely on maps and asking people. And nobody we ask in that town knew where it was. The guy I was running with would tell you every you needed to take to get anyplace in the U.S. just didn't know the new places we come on to, but after he had been there he could tell you every road You every road you needed from California to Maine. Stay safe and God bless.
I don’t know if it’s the trailer “THE DORSEY GIANT” but your Tarpping is looking great! I love the RED TARP! Old Truck looks better to me. Maybe because I’m 56 and old too?? Let me know when you get back to I-80 Truck Stop!!!
I had my first shot last week. No side-effects to speak of. My second shot is scheduled for April 8th. You're not sounding yourself, Dan. You need to take a few days off and rest.
@@terrysaint7629 if you take care of your health etc you have more chance of getting struck by lightning, than dieing of a virus , they are not talking too much about the side effects of the shot but you can look it up if you can stand the truth.
@@banjobenson9348 We in the U.K. believe the scientists who tell us the truth not some nut job of a president who tells you to drink disinfectant and not wear masks.
Even though you drive on the incorrect side of the road :P stay safe Sir. In Australia we have just had 14 days of solid rain on the whole east coast with some places receiving their yearly rainfall in that 14 days. Am glad I'm not on the road anymore lol. Always great riding shotgun with you :)
Nice one Dan. Wet weather and grey skies makes us tired, probably to do with low pressure, and more concentration required while driving on wet roads. Keep on keeping on.
THose first 4 cars in the train at the were carrying rolled steel coils. Glad to hear you're getting your vaccination, I'm still waiting for mine, they're doing teachers this week in New Brunswick, Canada, not New Jersey.
I always watch your videos and enjoy them very much. You are probably the most professional of all the US drivers that post on youtube. But, please forgive me a little chuckle when you start to get a bit stressed in town centres. for us Europeans those roads even in town are huge. And you are so looked after at drop sites Really easy, and lucky.. No criticism, just an observation.
@@deere7227 and no need for them!! A single drive axle is more fuel efficient to start with and the truck is lighter. When nearly all trucks never use a divider or diff lock why have a double drive ?? Most trucks this side of the Atlantic switched decades ago to a single driver and a tag or midlift. For traction you just do weight transfer by taking air out of the non driven axle airbags!
OKC, nice town and people. Spent plenty of time there in and out of Tinker AFB while working for Air National Guard Propulsion Office. Guthrie also an interesting town, along with Garth Brooks town of Yukon where he grew up, but was not born in.
Hey Dan, as much time as you spend tarping and untarping, would you ever consider a curtain side tarp setup? I have an all aluminum step deck with a Quick Draw tarp system and for what I haul I couldn’t imagine being without it. I don’t haul for hire, I only haul my own equipment so I don’t get the wide variety of freight you do. I’d be very interested to hear your thoughts on the pros and cons of a curtain sided tarp system for your operation. Thanks! Love your content!
Me and my ex wife got our shots this morning at 10am we had to stay at least 10 to 15 minutes just to make sure you didn't have any reaction to it we got the Pfizer vaccine and we get our second one on the 26th of April the last one and it's a good idea to get one and 150 days of more of wearing the mask after the second shot and after 150 more days of wearing the mask that's it have a great day Dan
My daughter works at a old folks home. It is required for her to get the shot. She got the shot and a week later she had covid-19. After that I will pass.
Bad luck, but not a good reason to not get vaccinated. It takes ~ 2 weeks for the vaccine to become most effective, along with a 2nd dose a month later if she was getting a 2 dose vaccine. I'll take my chances with a vaccine rather than rolling the dice on a ventilator, or struggling to breath face down in an ICU ward, or maybe being one of the ones that has a weird chronic respiratory, or long term reaction to covid. My brother in law was on a ventilator for two weeks, took him a month to recover from the ventilator.
You don't complain. You tell it how it is. We have continued to live our life as normal down here in NZ. You poor people have had to deal with massive disruption and sadness. I wont bother talking about the differences in our political leadership, suffice to say we listened to the medical experts, did as we were advised, and as a consequence our lives have been normal almost the entire time. We are very fortunate. Take care. Cheers.
Dan I am in the uk and love your videos . I have my shot last week , they did it in my left arm . I had a pain in it for two days and did fill a bit sick but nothing like I was expecting, good luck to you and the wife hope every thing goes ok
Dan, my wife and both have gotten our Covid Vaccinations. Not much to say about it, no real side effects. Other than sore arm. We both have gotten both the 1st and 2nd Vaccinations. If you ever find your going to stop in the Dallas area. Or outside the metroplex, I would like to meet up and discuss some things with you. Be safe and enjoy time at home.
Re: turnpike axle charges, l'm not a trucker, but l recall a trucker saying that you're charged for each axle whether lowered or not on at least 1 U.S. turnpike, don't recall which one, but most likely in the northeast
