Also, from my understanding, this Falinks on Route 8, like other wild encounters, will typically have the square sparkles ~99.9% of the time, so no this isn't anything "ultra" rare
@@dag5579 They're pretty much just square sparkles then LOL. It's still pretty cool to see them on bred shinies/shinies from raids and other special encounters, though, since they are a 1/16 chance there
I wonder, Is falinks technically breaking all of the rules in pokemon? It is technically 6 pokemon in 1. So if a trainer has 6 falinks, they have 36 total pokemon in their party. Falinks can learn beat up. Through the power of Anime logic, Falinks will obliterate any opposing pokemon it encounters.
Isn't it amazing how a group of six shiny Falinks will find each other and join forces. They were born different but found each other. True friendship right there.
What if, the troops matched the brass or leader's color? Shiny troops would become normal if the brass is normal, and normal troops would turn shiny if the brass is shiny? Maybe only the brass determines the shiny rate...
Failinks don’t have gender because of the amount of Pokémon in their group, this means that they don’t discriminate between male and female proving that Failinks is even better than you thought
when you think about it, Falinks must be the hardest shiny to find in the pokemon world.6 individual pokemon that all have their own chance of being shiny have to find each other and trainer together
Dugtrios been passing notes about me underground......that does it. I need a couple volunteers. were gonna get some shovels/spades and dig one up, it's time we get to the bottom of this and see what this dirt bully is all about.
Btw this is a good place to mention the reason Alolan Dugtrio is steel is that it’s “hair” is actually made of thin strands of volcanic metal. In real life this is a real thing, and it’s called “Pele’s Hair”, hence the wig joke. It’s very sharp and can stick to you easily which is why A! Dugtrio gets the Tangling Hair ability.
Just wish to clarify that while exeggutor may seem to have only 3 heads, as seen in the pokemon anime It does in fact keep all 5-6 of its eggs/heads, just thought this was something interesting to mention
good to know! even with that info, I think Falinks still wins since it seems that sometimes a head falls from the Exeggutor's tree and becomes a part of another Exeggcute. Falinks would never accept that happening
Absol is correct, the heads do fall off, so they don't always have 6 or 5 heads. The fallen head then ends up making another Exeggcute by joining others. Which makes sense because, despite looking like eggs, they're seeds. It's like Exeggutor is scattering seeds, then a bunch of 'em from different Exeggutors find each other and become Exeggcute, and the cycle continues.
@@AbsolBlogsPokemon not to mention that Eggsecute works kindof a hive mind with each member are forced to sacrefice themself for the survival of the "leader" while Falinks works together and if going by the ingame model the bigger leader protects the smaller ones
I had no idea that Falinks was a thing when I started Shield, so I was also incredibly surprised and delighted to find them. So of course I made sure to include them on my team, with the loving name “Rangers.”
Falinks in my favorite too. They're so perfect. I wish they had a gmax form where instead of getting bigger, there was just 100 of them in a big square. Like pikmin on the field
No. That would ruin the bond they established! Each falinks after they revert would get jumbled and lose their original crew, breaking them apart! I protest.
JJello What if the G-max form was instead all of them getting a big horn in the center of their head (still getting big by the way), with a Max move of G-max squad strike (fighting type) where instead of the fist, it’s all 6 big horns crashing down, with a side affect of either paralyzing or burning the opponent.
Yo speaking of Mantine I always felt the circles on its wings were meant to resemble a fighter plane’s markings, and like the Remoraid were meant to be wing-mounted guns (as Remoraid is meant to resemble a pistol). Not only do I wish they kept them together, but a Galarian Mantine would’ve been awesome. Instead of Remoraid it could’ve had Arrokuda that it could fire like missiles. I guess Cramorant kind of took that idea though. Which is kinda a shame.
Cool shiny. True story my first falinks i caught took 34 ultra balls and like 20 great balls. I was like does this thing have a super low catch rate but nope lol
Lol my first Falinks took 3 or 4 ultra balls. Then I caught another in a repeat ball cause it looks nice for the pokemon. Took 1 ball, then bred for 4 days wuth mesuda method to get a shiny in a repeat ball with competitive perfect IVs in Attack, Speed, and a few in defense. I ❤ Falinks!!
Every video i ask myself, how is this guy not at a million? Quality, intellectual, smart and down right pure witty, i hope you never change, im currently reviewing for my board exam and before i go to bed i always set time to watch your vids, keep up the amazing work, ill be proud to say that i was here when you started. Youll get big, im sure of it
Oreo17 If it’s a fusion between a normal and a shiny, have a half and half! Make people lose their minds over the patterns the shiny/normal Falinks can get.
I have to occasionally come back to rewatch this video because sometimes I just get the part at 0:45 stuck in my head. I just sometimes think about the boys, the squad, the gang.. and they draw me back in
I never thought much of Falinks until I encountered them for the first time. As soon as I saw those little guys separate into triangle formation and get back into line, I just fell in love with the little squad
I haven't paid attention to new pokemon designs for quite some time, but Falinks is definitely an A+ mon in terms of concept, design, naming, etc. I feel like it might deserve a point off for not being Fighting and _Steel,_ but aside from that, it's fantastic. The way it resembles a caterpillar and learns bug-type moves, the way even their *footsteps* have a slight delay like each one takes a second to match the movement of the one directly in front of them, the way the "captain" in the lead has more armor and a bigger helmet protrusion to distinguish itself from the others but leading by example by going out in front, how "No Retreat" appears to have Roman braizers and a violent storm raging, how its diminutive stature makes the war march it does both badass and absolutely adorable... it's all so damn good!
Holy crap it’s absol! My friend I met you at LA tech and you sat and played smash 4 friendlies with me for a good while. Remember the very last game as we were getting up I got that falcon punch on your duck hunt lol. I’ve been looking for you forever to practice with again! It’s so cool to see you doing so well! I’m a fan and I’m subscribed!
0:33 “But Falinks used its First Impression on me and it was Super Effective” I GET IT, BECAUSE ABSOL IS DARK TYPE AND FIRST IMPRESSION WOULD BE SUPER EFFECTIVE. Genius. Also, yes, Falinks best gen 8 pokemon :3
Absol you always manage to make these shiny hunting videos so incredibly charming with your comments and observations alone. It’s so nice to see keep up the great work
I love watching these videos while I do my own hunt, grats on the shiny man! Ultimate squad I’m going for a cyndaquil in crystal or just something in the cold storage in white, and watching these videos keeps me going.
My first shiny was a random zubat I found during the post game of ultra sun. I was just trying to go through a cave when suddenly it appeared out of nowhere.
I love how much you love this thing lmao. My favourites from this gen are Toxtricity, Raboot, (both have alot of personality) Zacian, Theivul and Sandaconda. But I agree with you when you say that this gen has alot of solid mons. 👌🏻
Yeah, the teamwork aspect is nice, but I like it mainly because they’re so cute! Also, I was looking to see what songs in the game match its marching tempo, and it’s the Pokémon Center music. I actually took a 30 second clip of them just marching to the song, and it’s adorable!
Falinks really is the best Gen 8 Pokémon. When I first got into a battle with it on route 8, I thought to myself, “holy crap that is so cool. This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but this is totally my favorite Galarian Pokémon.” Turns our I was wrong and everyone loves the Whoop Troop, haha.
YES. Falinks is definitely my second favorite gen 8 Pokemon after Eldegoss. I managed to avoid all of the leaks before playing the game, and instantly fell in love with Falinks when I first encountered it in the wild. Since it's a fighting type that looks like a caterpillar at first glance, I nicknamed it "Battlepillar". Great taste, and great video.
*Alexa, play I Love My Squad* Congrats on the shiny Kirby Conga line! I love these little guys. Your love for them and the intro was so wholesome. This really inspires me to hunt the little guys soon. also congrats on the RAYHRON
My first shiny hunt as of Pokemon sword and shield! I'm so glad that Falinks is your favorite Gen 8 Pokemon as well! I bred it using the Mesuda Method and shiny charm, got it in only about 300 Eggs! I just wish there is a faster way to release/surprise trade them all...
I love them too! Like seriously. After shiny hunting Wooloo which took 1000+ encounters (I lost count tbh). I was going to shiny hunt Milcery next but I got a shiny Meowth just 22 encounters after the shiny Wooloo. 2 shinymons in one day! So I decided to shiny hunt Falinks next. I can't wait to get my shiny squad. I think they are just adorable honestly.
Falinks gang Falinks gang Falinks is one of my favorite gen 8 pokemon why swept my friend with it, i also love its animation how it just marches on the spot. But congrats on the shiny Falinks Absol, another great upload.
It's my favorite too, at the beginning I was like "New pokemon are cool but.... yeah", and then.... I've seen it, I just love his design and all, he's so cute and his shiny is great, I love him, I need it full odd
I like Inteleon personally ( named mine James Pond ) but Falinks is in my favorites. I learned the name Falinks is a reference to the formation of soldiers used in Rome.
At first I thought that they were individual Pokémon when they came out of their hole, but holy was I happy when I saw them all being one singular Pokémon. I was only a little dissapointed when I saw that they didn't have an evolution
You bring up a good point with dugtrio. I mean, what if they put grass on their head? Do they become grass types? Or maybe it's the hair dues? In that case I would expect a bowl cut for a grass type... I have too much time on my hands...
