I've been after this shiny for the past 3 months. I'm on phase 7, did a total of 35k+ encounters (4.3k of which were Ponyta), found only 3 different species of sparkly mons and I still haven't finished the game because I don't want to move on from Glimwood Tangle without this unicorn. I had to watch this video to actually see shiny Ponyta exists in this forest. Congrats, dude! I'm mad jealous. 🤣

You poor soul. Let me tell you of my luck. I love ponyta, it’s the only reason I chose shield. I also have a friend that I anted one for their Pokedex so I went into the glimwood tangle to get them one. I was not giving them the one I encountered. I think you know why
