His numbers aren't high because he's the 4th guy on the list of targets. Look who they have on the team. Jefferson gets a ton of throws his way because he's the only option on the Vikings. Lamb is the only legit WR on the Cowboys.

49ers overpaid for Deebo (He's good but is too injury prone) and now can't pay Aiyuk who imo is better or has better chemistry with Purdy. And they gotta sign Purdy next year. Aiyuk is probably gone unless they find a way to play with the cap.

It's just negotiating tactics, remember Deebo wants out too when he was negotiating his contract. They want all the money that they can get. Just like John Lynch said, I don't anticipate a trade.

Florio will sit there with nothing to say and then hear Simms say something clever, like “Oh Aiyuk is wide open in every highlight. Is it him or is it Shanahans offense?”, and then Florio butts in and acts like he also noticed that on the film and thinks the same thing. Which is not true. He just steals Simms good thoughtful takes and pretends he also knew that. Such con-artist selfish, slimy bullshit. Florio doesn’t notice shit like that and never would anyway, even if he did watch film, which HE DOESNT

I don’t see what the urgency is to trade him. He has a year left on his contract and can be franchise tagged next year if a deal does not get done, you speculators are ridiculous. 49ers are still trying to win. They are not into trading a 1,000+ yard pass catcher so another team can shoot their shot.

The funny part about all this... he apparently wants a certain amount of money, and the team has offered what they feel is a fair price that doesn't match his expectation. But we all know he'll go out and sign a deal for just a little bit more than what they have offered. These players are annoying.

Niners resign A list players. And it doesn't matter what another team offered in terms of a contract, it's more about how much the team is willing to give up. Also Lynch is good friends with the agent and the agent will shut this down just like he has everything else
