@@Ladyvisionary well i did only have a public defender, there were people in county jail with me that got released with timed served for similar charges all because they could afford a private attorney. Unfortunately things like that still run the justice system, but yeah my good behavior and genuine repentance helped too. Thnx for your kind words

But only the lives of the criminals and their families matter to you, not the families of their victims.

If you earn your way into prison for any of the above crimes, normal people need to be kept safe from you and you deserve to be punished for what you chose to do. The victims of the men in that prison were normal until they were preyed upon by violent criminals. Prisons aren’t free rehab centers where you can come to get free meals, hang out and get your GED. Prisons are places where the most dangerous members of society need to be kept for public safety and to be punished. The victims and their families that those men denied opportunities to don’t get a voice. Nobody checks up on them to see how they’re doing after suffering at the hands of violent criminals. People just seem to identify more with criminals than the law abiding citizens they target. I wish I could understand why that is.

I guarantee most, if not all, of the people in prison deserve to be there. Politicians are scum but thrives, rapists, aniseeds, drug dealers, and murderers are the lowest filth in existence. I hope you find more in common with the law abiding citizens that these predators target instead of the criminals who terrorize their communities.
