Yeah, I heard him he said that as well. But the news lady said her dog was big enough to protect itself from a coyote. Acted like no big deal. And her co host confirmed the size of the dog.

JL has stated that the Niners are committed to drafting the best player available and not for need this time around (see the Trey Lance debacle). I doubt the best player available at 31 is going to be an OL, even though that's obviously the biggest need. There's a part of me hoping the best player available on the board at 31 is a WR. It might ruffle Aiyuk's feathers, but we need insurance if Aiyuk or Deebo is unavailable for whatever reason. We can't count on Danny Gray or Ronnie Bell at this point.
9ers going D . Can't help themselves but like u say no OL in top 30 . If picking for need no injuries. Project is something else . With the # of picks no reason for projects . Go for quality now .
Since the 49ers had the lead late in the forth quarter and since the defense could not hold it, then defense is where the two first picks must go, if the 49ers are going to properly address the problem. Darius Robinson DT/Edge and Michael Hall DT would solidify the 49ers D-line. Another player to take a serious look at with their third forth round pick, would be Justin Eboigbe DT/Edge. All three are very good against the run and can also get after the quarterback. Eboigbe is projected to go in the sixth, which I believe is underrating his talent, which is why I would spend a forth on him.
Kyle ,John and the crayon eater Jed will set sights on and hand out future firsts for some project that never comes to fruition. All faithful have is hope and luck through next couple days. Luck like bosa kittle and purdy.
Part of me really wants the 9ers to go all in and keep Aiyuk and draft Worthy. Just get all the weapons possible. Kyle has been looking for a flanker forever, he had it briefly with Sanders but that role has never been stable here. Watching everything McDaniel does with Tyreek makes me want Kyle to get a guy like that for us.
All I know is it doesn’t make sense to get a 5th round talent in the 3rd or 4th round. No matter how bad they want a OL player you can’t wast a draft position because that’s a losing proposition.
whoever they end up drafting... they need experienced linemen. They know better, but I'd not like to see them drafting "needs some work first" type players. But since they're going to draft 6 OL it should all work out. :)
