He is a stud he is good in coverage, but he face guards alot. It adds to the secondary room, so the Niners needs to seriously focus on the OL in the draft!
Personally, I love what SF is doing this off-season. The primary focus was to bolster the defensive line with guys who can put pressure on opposing QBs and who can stop the run. Then, we signed a LB who can run sideline to sideline just in case Greenlaw misses part of the season. I think signing that CB from the Saints was huge. Having one corner who was among the top interception artists last season on one side and a corner on the other side who led the league in pass breakups is very exciting…especially since D-Mo is now sliding into the NB position. If we stay healthy , this will be the best defense in the entire NFL. Personally, I don’t think people are putting enough thought into the moves we made to improve the special teams unit. I think the offense will get more attention during the draft. I can see us using three picks (a first rounder, a third rounder, and two later round picks)on offensive linemen. The second round pick will be a top 5 TE prospect. Then in true Kyle and Lynch tradition they will draft a RB (hopefully one that’s better than the other past failed third round RB picks). The fourth and fifth rounds will be all about WRs. After the fifth round it will be all about the best player available. With twelve spots on the roster available…the front office will look to add a pick through a trade and sign a big name free agent FS like J.Simmons or Blackman. This team is set up for greatness as long as “Lil Shanny’s” big head don’t get in the way again. *Dont come out of the half of the Super Bowl with a small lead and throw the ball 11 or more straight times. RUN THE DAMN BALL!
I'm still skeptical that we will solve our immediate O-line needs with only draft picks, even high ones. Doubtful that any O-line draft pick will become a starter this season and make an impactful pass pro improvement. I think we'll still need to get at least one veteran FA as well as draft picks to deal with our pass pro woes THIS season. There are still a few good guards and tackles out there. I think relying only on draft picks for our O-line needs THIS year is dumb, or at best very risky.
@@rhmayer1 personally, I think the free agent list is filled with over priced, high injury risk or guys that either sucked or don’t fit our system. I do think that RT from Washington is a perfect fit in our system considering he has played in it since high school. His high school coach is Ed McCaffrey who ran the same system as Kyle’s dad. Plus, he has been working with Joe Staley in college. I think he will be available at 31 and I think he would be better than Colt at RT. I can see him shifting to LT when Trent retires.
ya-sin makes a lot of sense. somebody who can definitely interupt the first 20 yards and strip close thrown balls. just get him up to huf and brown speed coming down the lane to help
We're in "silly season"- so all things go- including how we'd move up in the draft. Why? because it's fun! Can't wait for the draft. I (seriously) hope the 49ers spend their draft on 8/9 OL players, and one, or two DB's. Yippie!!!! Then we look forward to this coming season. I really like Rock Ya-Sin... a former wrestler playing in the NFL! (jokingly- Too bad Randy Savage is gone, imagine him talking to the press for his post game interview.) :) Thanks always David-
It's about time the niners addressed the Thomas issue who is the weakest position on the entire team! Let Thomas go already, he's been terrible for ever!!
Yeah I think the Niners should pack each up some pics and move up to Denver spot because you know Denver can't trade up to get their quarterback and I'm sure they'd rather pick a quarterback in 31 then where they're at I think 12 or something like that and then they can get a second round pick cuz they don't have one
We needed a bad boy name - can we just call him Lucifer instead of Sin? Kinda worries me he couldn't get PT in balt. Yiadum didn't look good fundamentally in what i saw and I got my doubts there. Looks to me like we are drafting a couple corners, after drafting OT.
@@michaelduarte7896he's rocking the Sin, not tryna crush it. How do you feel about Sodom and Gomorrah corner in Levi's as a Rock Ya Sin rooting section?
One time he allowed a WR1 run by him and went to double cover a 10 yard out route that someone else had already covered up. The WR1 ended up catching a wide open TD in the endzone. At that point, I knew Ambry was only a backup CB at best. That was a LOW IQ move. The high IQ move was to cover the WR1 running into the endzone.
this is the most aggresive ive seen the 49ers be during free agency. with all of these signings plus i think they have 10 picks in the draft...... that tells me the 49ers are planing to move up in the draft because all these players cant make the roster
