Agree, and that's why I'm still wiped out inside. The 9er defense did such a shutdown job on KC in the SB that the only way KC scored a TD in regulation was due to that muffed punt giving them a short field. Had that not happened, I feel the 9ers would've won for sure. 😩

It seems like the defensive and offensive ratings on this chart are independent of the quality of teams that they scored these ratings against. It would be neat to see the stats that are weighed or factored by the quality of the team played. You kind of covered this by looking at they're where the Chief's opponents are on this chart, but where they are also says something about who each of THOSE teams played against.

wow when has this SF team been an underdog. missing key players at only 500 against a KC team thats 5-0 and went to the superbowl. really want to hear the analysts betting argument. they fail to give SF a chance to prove people wrong by winning. expected to win every game they play regardless of injuries or record is strange to me
I believe the 49ers can beat the chiefs but can the 49ers not be at themselves by letting the chiefs have big yards on the special teams and can the 49ers do better in the red zone. 3 field goals in the red zone in the 1st half will not give the team a great lead against KC and giving KC good yards on special teams after the kick gives KC a chance to score are kick field goals to keep them in the game if that's all the 49ers are doing themselves kicking field goals in the red zone
Niners better not have Campbell on the field for one play.Andy will easily see that he is the weakness.Play Winters and an extra defensive back if necessary.Chiegs have an outstanding offensive line.No way Niners should be favored.KC should win by 20 in my opinion.
Don"t overemphasize stats and rankings. SF recently ran up over 40 points on top-ranked Dallas defense and thrashed Jets D this season. They lost SB to KC on two blown assignments, OL and DB. Play well, beat KC!
