Keep your head up Matt and work through those emotions brother. Even though you guys chose not to post the video, I’m glad you were able to verbally discuss how you were feeling out loud and not allowing it to fester intentionally. Glory, waking up early is definitely the vibes! I wake up at 5 am now and I’m so much more productive. I suffer from seasonal depression so a lil piece of a routine during these colder months helps me tremendously. Happy holidays to the slice and rice family and a happy new year. My boyfriend died while I was 6 months pregnant with our son and these videos have really been helping me through my grieving. Our son is healthy and 3 months old. I just want to thank you guys for being you. Stay awesome😁. Also, Glory, what is the name of the book you are reading?

My mom gave me great perspective. She said, enjoy every moment because they grow up so fast. This was the best advice Glory because in a blink of an eye, my son is 11 and daughter is 4. Can’t go back to those precious newborn days are toddler years -and you’ll miss them so much one day. Seasons change and you and Matt will get through this. Glory- this had a very raw and genuine feel without feeling like you over exposed yourself. It’s so OK to just talk about the non glamorous shit we deal with as parents. As a workaholic who left the work force for SAHM life - this resonated with me a lot. Thank you for sharing! You are amazing!! I always wanted and still want to be that mom who wakes up before her kids.. I had 3 kids age 2 and under and would literally sleep when they slept type deal. They are now 9,8 and 7 years old and took them a few years to finally have a steady sleep routine and all in sync. But I have a 1 year old now and feel like I’m starting all over again. 😅 but it’s almost the New Years, it could be my New Years resolution! To wake up early to have a little “ME” time before the kids wake up!❤

I think Matt recording how he feels is part of his healing. There are some Pinterest self reflection prompts that I use to help me they have some for anxiety depression etc. Maybe you guys can check those out they even have some for Christian reflections. It's been helpful for me during my thoughtful or low moments

I admire you cleaning with your toddler.... If I open something, my son closes it. If I put something in a bin,he takes it out. He's only a year... but I think it's time to get him a play station that's pulled out when I need to clean. Something full of baby safe items that I can DIY. I'd never considered waking up at 4.... even though I ALWAYS AM.... cause my baby needs me. I have energy then, but I'm such a grouch, we wake up with the same face lol. I always have trouble getting back to sleep, my brain just switches on, but I've been forcing myself to, thinking I need more than 6hrs of sleep. I think this is worth a go for a few weeks. Hi Glory. This video of yours is an answered prayer to me. I prayed and asked God yesterday how am I able to regain any ME-time as a new mom. I am a new mom with a 6-week old baby. She is a surprise baby, so i wasnt really ready to be a mom and i still enjoy my own life. But with that 'gone' now and I'm still learning how to cope with the whole new mom life. I started to question myself, my life on will I ever be able to be 'me' ever again. I asked God to show me how to regain some me-time before I go and ask any 'experienced' mom in church and He did! Thank you for still making content with two children under two. That's absolutely challenging! Couldn't imagine how you two manage! Thank you for being such a gift to me (and to the internet). Will keep your family in prayer when God prompts me to. Love you, sister in Christ. And hang in there~ And Matt too

Preach Glory! I used to wake up and start the day when my son woke up as my job allowed me to do that. I found myself lolling around for a good portion of the day and getting very little done (working 5hr evening shifts as a nanny) I now work 10hr shifts in the same job which sounds like it'd be harder but honestly it gave me the morning drive to get up and ready, sort myself out as well as the house, prepare breakfast and my sons clothes for the day before he even woke up and the mornings now run smoothly, my head feels clearer not having a panicked rush to leave the house and i get to wake him gently with more than enough time if he needs some extra comfort in the mornings. HIGHLY recomend to all mums, when you first start you'll question why you're awake before you "need" to be as the kiddo or kiddos are asleep but within a week you'll realise it's so worth it and you feel better prepared for the day ahead

I know you didn't ask for advice, I'm a mom of two as well but if you take the toddler out of the crib and place him in a toddler bed , it will allow him to play independently and it will give you sooooo much extra time since he's playing.
