My hair is a different grade of curl and looser and gel does so much damage especially jam. Please let the baby’s hair breathe. There is nothing wrong with letting that fro loose and grow. Her hair is beautiful and that pulling and gel is gonna make it fall right back out again. When my son was a baby all I did was wash and use organic coconut oil literally and his hair is longer than most little girls and women and he is only six. All I did was box braids, no rubber bands or cornrows. No tension, pulling and gel.
