Appreciate it man. I don't have a vid of the 5 lug conversion, as that was a straight bolt up. But I do have a vid going from cs 5 hole to the brembos on the channel.

Funny you say that. I've been using the AWD 4g15 flywheel. Those has the dowels already in position to use a mivec 215mm clutch and pressure plate combo. What i use is the ACT extreme clutch and pressure plate rated for 450tq

They are supposed to yea. Mine making noise as well. You need to take them out an clean them or get then replaced. I'm using 5w40 oil and not going to go any thicker than that

It's possible it may work once the transmission is not cvt. Harness from the 4g15t should work. I haven't tried it, but I believe it may

What trigger patter was used? We left 1 on the cam and the one on the crabs was normal. So the trigger pattern is similar to the evo 10 trigger pattern.

@@danielpersad5789 I am using evo 10 trigger setup for the crank since its same but for the cam, rhe pattern is not quite similar to evo x…just sent you a message on facebook, can we communicate there?thanks

Normal driving you can feel the difference for sure. Alot smoother etc. We have to go to tune on the dyno to really see the difference with full throttle runs

Im currently running 4g15 twin cam on a 4g18 block with high compression pistons, was thinking about boosting as the car runs quicker than a normal 4g15 twin cam but considering changing the head first (its a ck2 lancer btw)

The head is a direct bolt up. But you would need the oil pump, water pump, trigger wheel and the ecu. I'm using a maxx ecu, standalone ecu,so we used that to start the car.It can work with the 4g18 yea. Boost is life!

Hey thanks man. You would need the parts I used, and also change the pump in the tank. It would be better to get a fuel injected gas tank as that has a baffle in the tank, which is better. You may have to run some fuel lines back to the fuel tank, but it shouldn't be too much work to do.

I'm running a maxxecu standalone unit. So that made it easier for me. Without that, I would not be able to start the car without the original mivec ecu

Nah I don't have a pin out for it. I used the same wiring harness I had for the 4g15, I just wired in the mivec. And then the crank sensor jack had to change

It's a built 4g18 block and a stock 4g15 mivec head. In order to activate the mivec, you would need the crank trigger to work, so the ecu can see it. Otherwise, it can work with the stock 4g18 crank, but you may not be able to activate the mivec

Hey, it's the same cover. I just added 2 10AN ports to fit my catch can. I'm running alot of boost, so needed to make sure the head was vented properly

The head came off a 4g15 mivec turbo engine from the Colt R

If your transmission is cvt, I don't think it will work with the 4g15T from the colt. The transmission that comes with the 4g15t is a normal type, non cvt

This is the 4g15 mivec head from the colt r. Stock head,cover,cams,coil pack from the colt. It's on a 4g15 sohc block that came in the cs3 lancer

Nah I didn't. The ck 4g92 head would not line up the the 4g1x series of blocks

@@danielpersad5789 i was thinking about putting this engine into my lancer cs3 too, but workshop is worry about that this engine ecu won't be compatible with abs and airbag.

I don't see why it won't work with abs and airbag. That has a separate control system. U just changing engine and the ecu for the engine. Thats it

@@danielpersad5789 i think you are right, there are ecu for abs and airbag. Will try to source for this engine. By the way what gearbox you are using? My lancer is using ck4 version gearbox, but i search online some one manage to bolt it up to this 4g15 mivec.

I'm using a ck mivec gearbox. All those blocks supposed to have the same bolt up

We used the evo 10 trigger Pattern. That had to be tweaked a bit to start. For the mivec to work, you would need to use the 4g15 mivec trigger and cam trigger as it uses that to know cam position to set mivec. If u don't want mivec to work, it's possible to use the 4g18 cam an crank trigger

You use 4g15 box from colt czt? I have use lancer MX gearbox it bolt up direct to 4g15t but i had to move my slave cylinder a bit forward because of turbo original place Do you think thats the cause for slipping in changing gears? I wonder was box you use and what is you clutch setup if you dont mind helping

@@yaseenpeerally6722 I'm using tbe gearbox from tbe 4g92 mivec. Those made to swing 8500+ rpm. I'm also using an act clutch an pressure plate. Slipping in changing gears may be your clutch going bad and requires replacement

I'm running a standalone management. Maxxecu. If you are putting this engine you will need the original 4g15t ecu or a standalone. 4g18 won't work as it has to control fueling for boost and mivec activation

So your mivec now works based on a specific rpm?

@@amir3992 I have the original ecu for the mivec at home. For sale. The car still needs to be tuned but we can set the mivec to come on at any rpm

I'm using a 4g92 mivec gearbox on this setup. The ratios in this works better in my setup for autocross, faster acceleration
