Just wanting to find out i am using the original injectors on the 4jh1 engine with a 4jb1 pump do i need to change the injector to a 4jb1 and how much of fuel do i need on a 4jh1 injector
I have a 4jb1t and it has a "electronic overflow valve", or what i have known as a solenoid valve near the compensator. I don't know where to connect it, because we installed the 4jb1t engine to a mitsubishi pajero. So what I do is, I installed a toggle switch which connected to that overflow valve. My main question, is it okay to turn that overflow valve always on when running?, also I've noticed that when I turned on the overflow valve it sounds, like when you advance the timing of your ip. When I turned it off basically its more quieter.
@JoshDavies111 4JH1 timing gear sets are more refined and quieter. The scissor gear removes backlash from the system. It is not uncommon for high milage 4JB1 gear sets to start galling, occasional cam gear failures have happed as well.
