This game is going to age so well. Like other people said, there are issues with the mods rright now, specially on day time, but it's just the beginning. Now that the game is mostly feature complete, the real work and aging starts. Five years from now, there will be insane mods for it!

Eye candy video. Playing with this mod in VR, changes the feel and gets rid of the subpar look at daytime. Now, if there is only a way to get rid of the overexposed in car first person view, it’ll be complete.

The optics are brilliant. And the majority of PCs have to catch up with to the tech for full detail experience with 60+ fps. But there is so much more potential for models than just the visuals. Night City has so much unused space and cancelled content.

Ofc you can try it, the only bug drop fps you will have is when raining but, check the optional rain files he uploaded, they are less fps hungry and fixed a smoke flickering bug.

In all honesty I prefer the original look of the game without Ray Tracing lol... That's just me and I also own a 4090, Ray Tracing makes this game feel wierd and there are too many perfect reflections.

What i don't like about ray tracing is that the reflected image has the exact same color temp as the original. That never happens in real life.

@@waitisthatcobalt Yes really, because the intensity of the color is determent by the type of surface its reflecting on. Reflections on wet tarmac looks different then reflections on a glass window for example. In Cyberpunk its all the same no matter the type of surface. Still looks awesome though.

Do manually installation, don’t use Vortex, is a headache you will get a lot of problems, manually is very easy.

The mods is very consistent and is playable through the entire game, but, for your first play through I would recommend the intended look of the game, that said if you don’t like the original look try the mod : )

You could try, I suggest to install a different rain mod if your FPS are suffering, Try the Blade Runner Finer rain mod. GITS rain is fps heavy bc it has insane amount of particles.

I’m really having a hard time with Cyberpunk 2077 and MSI afterburner, I think some mods or maybe CET is making my game crash if I use MSI afterburner, I will try to find a different fps overlay, for the Settings. I use everything on ultra and psycho graphics.

might be a brightness / colour option on your monitor, similar as to how you cant see 4k, if you watch the video in 480p but it still looks better recorded on 4k ompared to recorded on 1080p.

Something about this video is fake. It's been uploaded in 8K@60FPS and Path Tracing on. A 4090 is powerful, but not *that* powerful. Not even with DLSS Ultra Performance.

Nothing is fake in the video…., if you knew how YT works you will understand that the video need to be uploaded at the max quality possible. I record the video in 8K,250 MBs bit rate and edit it at more high equality so it doesn’t lose a lot of quality in RU-vid. Also uploading 8K force AV1 in RU-vid and this is the best encoder out there

@@IronmanToday So you didn't run the game in 8K but in 4K but upscale-recorded it in 8K so it doesn't screw up the quality due to compression artifacts. Do I understand that right? That's the definition of faking it, unless you make that clear in like the description. But I did that myself years ago too to counter YTs compression issues when I recorded important content in 1080p and uploaded an upscaled version of it to conserve quality. You also don't need to upload in 8K to "force AV1". 4K is sufficient for that. (Not that it's getting sent in AV1 to most users anyway...) Uploading it in more than 50 mbit/s also won't make a difference as YT will convert it to a max of 50 mbit/s no matter what. You can easily check that with youtube-dl or dlp-dl. So summing it up, upscaling a video to 8K is kind of a legitimate fake and telling me "if you knew how YT works" while I have literally uploaded over a thousand videos to it in over 17 Years is quite a bold thing to say.

Yet, I'm going to correct myself here. I was just testing around myself with a comparable hardware setup and was able to accomplish ~66 FPS in 5K (max my setup currently is able to) with FrameGen and DLSS=Performance. So I _might_ be willing to believe there could be a slight chance of you reaching at least 60 FPS at 8K using FrameGen and DLSS=UltraPerformance. I also checked your video frame-by-frame to ensure it was not video-interpolated in some way. However, I'd still be interested to know if you really recorded 8K gameplay footage here or just upscaled 4K to 8K for YT-reasons.

I have nothing against the mod, but to be honest, not as good as original graphics - the original is almost perfect balance in graphics features and art direction. This new mod is adding a lot of unnecessary brightness/glow/flares from the look of it. Even the night scene it's losing a lot of interesting color palettes and mood. I hope the mod can further improve and truely makes a different, but I find it hard for cyberpunk, as the original game's graphics is already really good and near perfection. Anything changes it would more likely to make things worse.
