Unfortunately, I had issues with the mic, probably because of water in the mic socket. It somehow solved itself after some time but I had to replace the sound in the beginning.
I was near Kumegawa station with my camera when it started snowing. So, I filmed a snowy night walk to the next Kodaira station in the city of Higashimurayama in Tokyo.

I love this walk. There's a certain atmosphere that draws me to it. Love the 22:47 scene specially where the train passed by with the snow falling. Like am I watching a Ghibli movie? That was so dreamy. There are so many scenes here that gave me goosebumps. A great walk, lovely video overall despite the mic issue. Love it!

Few people; but always kept at a distance. A sense of being alone and ignored, yet the constant sound of the traffic gives a sense-of-security; being looked- out for. The noise is a companion. And it's evening. It is akin to freefalling simply due to there being no obvious direction he takes us. In other words: this is vintage Rambalac. Amen for that!

The replaced sound worked, but in a special way. It gave the footage a dreamlike layer of non-existant bicycles, ghost trains and odd puffing sounds from somewhere close without a lenscleaner in sight! :) 👻👻👻🚋🚋🛌

Nice walk. I will watch it again in August to cool down 🥵. In the Beginning I thought you edited the acoustic Track with a kind of filter to surpress the annoying car Noises 😅. Greetings from Hamburg

うまい! I LOVE your nighttime stormy/rainy walks, I watch "Rainy backstreets of Japan at night 5" at least once a day. The HDR in this one is especially great. A shame about the sound, but oh well.

6:45 - в такую погоду у меня было бы желание зайти в кафе и съесть что-нибудь горячее, или по крайней мере выпить чашку кофе. Но надо отдать должное автору за съемку в любых условиях и в любое время, меня бы надолго не хватило :)

Всё правильно, но не будет же он показывать как он сидит и кофе пьёт. Такие прогулки есть его "работа". И именно в любую погоду - (чтоб мы "прочувствовали"...)) Вот например я смотрю, и чувствую что в такую погоду хочу поскорее "прийти домой" 😆 ... И сидя дома, мне уже не так фигово ...

Snow again!! My first year in Tokyo in 1982, it snowed 26 times! I lived in a 3-jo in Tomigaya , Shibuya. Freezing cold, small, unheated, no hot water or bath, the windows rattled and the squat toilet was down the hall. I loved going to the neighborhood sento and the convenient location. But that winter was very hard on everyone. Thanks for posting and walking in the snow for us Rambalc! Best from Vancouver.

Fantastic video and image quality. I love those walks far away from the usual tourist places in Tokyo. BTW I also very much loved your camera work in the kimono video wit @ With Me Japan. Arigato. I first didn't noticed anything about the sound but yeah in the end it is out of sync. The sound quality is great though.

Hope all is well,snow and quakes.No worries about sound,video is also important as audio if not more.It felt like crackle of snow sound.I have sound issues on my pc and i have to use usb external sound card instead of regular integrated 3.5 mm jack.It is great video.
