As someone who did this during vacation, no, thats not what it’s like, you must actually visit to get the full experience. Also, included with the purchase is the ability to talk to multiple AI robots, test new sound directed speakers, and new technologies. Overall, the Vegas Sphere isn’t just a theater, it’s an experience and exhibit showcasing new technology and the advancements and results of our actions to the future.
You do know you can take a 30 second or even 1 minute clip for posterity, then enjoy the whole thing afterwards right? Or.. Listen to this, you can actually record the whole way while watching on the main screen too. So is the simpleton mindblown?

People just cannot put their phones down and simply enjoy life any more. We were at kings island this past weekend and saw kid after kid sitting down and messing with their phones. You’re at this beautiful park full of great rides and you sit there watching videos. It’s sad and depressing.
Yea. Its gotten ridiculous. We went to an Atlanta Braves a while back and Im sitting there looking around in the middle of the game and I would say 70% of the people around me were all buried in their phones. Im like why did you pay to be here? And we had great seats too, pretty pricey.

it's because smartphones were deliberately designed to be addictive. bluelight triggers endorphins and the act of "clicking" reinforces it...until pretty soon people are walking out into oncoming traffic with their phone glued to their face...people like Bill Gates won't let there kids have smartphones because they know it's damaging..thats before u get into short wavelength 5g microwave signals, wifi & bluetooth. that ad where aliens invade but nobody notices because they can't look away from their phones is them blatantly telling u...years ago you needed 50p & a call box..now u don't even need a brain coz your smartphone will think for you..some world we've built for ourselves

The screen is great but the choice of footage could have been better, I was expecting something more dramatic in terms of space exploration and beauty of nature on Earth. It's a good technology to interact with virtual environment as the real environment is being exploited for narrow human gains. So , in time when there is no or limited real environment , these virtual environment will be helpful 👍
i went too the Sphere and saw the post card from Earth as well, it was truly a breathtaking movie, we went at night and seeing the sun and the warmth was the best moment, can not wait too go see it again

its kinda like VR but on a large 2d screen, epcot and disney been doin this in their parks for a while now, its really cool id like to check it out but im not flying to vegas to overpay for this experience

They actually began their own production sphere studio years before construction was completed so they could develop and research and then produce content for it. Especially the exterior display, as there was literally no content capable of fully utilising the technology the building has been designed and built for. Bucket list to attend one day, king way from Melbourne, Australia though.
It's just great, knowing that people will create such a structure, I would wonder if it's worth spoiling the view. It seems to me that when you have -1 and you are short-sighted, it doesn't feel so cool anymore, but I still really want to get there.
All that money spent on technology and all they have to show on it is a bunch of RU-vid nature clips stitched together? Show a flight over Pandora or a rollercoaster ride and make everyone throw up ffs
The film was horrible. Something this monumental deserves to be placed in the hands of Spielberg or Lucas to create a thoroughly jaw-dropping experience.
