Dopo la fioritura si formano le silique, ovvero dei piccoli bacelli al cui interno si trovano dei microscopici semi neri sferoidali utilizzati per per produrre appunto l'olio di colza. Adesso, tra metà giugno e inizio luglio, a secoonda della zona di coltivazione, inizia la maturazione e la conseguente trebbiatura.

I'm following a YT American couple with young daughters, bought a small barn in Italian Alps and are renovating into a home. The work is backbreaking, I can't imagine how they built an entire village on a mountain hundreds of years ago and no modern tools. The restaurant remodeling alone is amazing.

Such a beautiful village perched high up on the hill. We were going to make this a highlight of our Italy itinerary when we visit, but so many other parts of Italy caught our attention, and alas, it dropped off our itinerary not long ago. Instead, we opted for Sorano, not far from Civita. A breathtaking part of Italy, to be sure. I could spend a month just visiting the hilltop villages. Nice walk as always, and always great to see what you had for dinner! When are you going to show your face, so we can see your smiles and your reaction to the amazing food!
