Looks like they’re making progress on the east bound bypass track! When complete will LIRR trains just continue straight after leaving line 3 instead of crossing over to the line 1 track just after leaving the tunnel?
@@MrMaster767 looked like they were moving alot faster than that both in the tunnels and especially once the train got past all the interlocks. I've been on amtrak on the northeast corridor downloaded a GPS speedometer app and showed regularly going 130 to 135 as our max speed through new jersey and also in Maryland and Delaware heading towards DC
