Hello Miru! I also use que a7sII for underwater, I would like to know which ISO setting you use? I get sometimes a WB shift in the middle of a video and the only thing I can relate it is to the ISO... Have you had this issue?
Hi Felipe :) Definitely Yes, I had the same issue. It is not so prominent when I shoot with enough amount of lights like shallow reef, but It is sometimes problem especially when it comes to ambient light condition. So, I usually set ISO btw 200 - 800, and I do not change ISO that often. Before I shoot one project, I set its 'look' in my mind and according to the depth I change it's color style. For example, in shallow reef I shoot in Underwater WB mode which reveals lots of color with good water color, and I go deeper, I set Kelvin manually like 4900 - 4700. It may lost some red and orange, but shows deep and heavy blue and I like that.
Mmm I see, I will try the manual ISO next time to see what happens, where I work we do 80% of the dives at 20m or deeper so that would be a possible solution. Thanks a lot for the reply!
