Location Introduction:
Chongqing Qiansimen Jialing River Bridge is located at Qiansimen, Yuzhong Peninsula, next to Hongya Cave, a famous scenic spot in Chongqing. It is only a few hundred meters away from Monument to the people's Liberation CBD, Chongqing Grand Theater and Chongqing Science and Technology Museum. The bridge is connected with Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge through Yuzhong Tunnel, forming a highway rail shortcut connecting Jiangbei urban area, Monument to the people's Liberation CBD and Tanzishi area on the south bank.
The bridge was opened to traffic at midnight on April 29, 2015.
This bridge, together with the Dongshuimen Bridge, has set six world records:
1. The same type of bridge has the world's largest span.
2. The cable beam anchoring form is the world's first.
3. Sota anchor tonnage ranks first in the world.
4. Lasso consists of 139 parallel steel strands, with the highest tonnage in the world.
5. The main tower adopts a spatial curved construction form, and the outer contour is in the shape of a shuttle, which has a unique landscape effect.
6. The large tonnage support under the main bridge tower adopts the cow leg support method, setting a world record.
