@@tatecomedy He was a last minute signing. Folks should be thanking AEW. They forced WWE hand to sign him because AEW beat WWE to Will Ospreay signature, so they had to do something big. WWE is a petty company.
@@FrederickChampaguno absolutely no idea what happened to him. Probably living off Anna Jay’s paycheque. 😂 Oh yes, let’s not forget Tony Khan as well. Felt his life in danger around Punk, but had no problem with Excalibur choking out Jimmy Havoc right in front of him. 😂
@@GavinFromAutoglassRepair I swear the fans who are just split one or the other are absolutely the worst. Punk attacked Khan, no shit he’d feel in fear of his safety around him. The Havoc incident was widely regarded as Havoc’s own doing.. 🤦🏻♂️ can’t we just be happy that wrestling has two bigger companies?
I love how hyped up Michael Cole his. Swinging his arm when the theme hits, drumming along to the beat, bouncing his head. He looks as excited as the fans.
@@Leg3ndKilla687 Only HHH and Nick Khan new until it happened. TKO Board members had no idea and where holy shittin backstage HHH said during the press. HHH cooked
This footage actually confirms Seth's meltdown afterwards is a work for anyone who was thinking it was real. He's not only obviously putting on a tantrum for the crowd right after Punk's music hits (throwing his belt, asking the ref what's going on, asking JD if they had something to do with this, etc.), but at 2:18 you can see the in-ring camera man is shooting Seth's reaction alone, which is footage we haven't seen yet. I'm sure that footage will be used on RAW to start a program between Seth and Punk.
I think so too. even if Seth really doesnt like Punk, I think he will be a pro and work with him like he did with Riddle. he wont cause trouble like those guys in AEW did.
Uh no. You guys really think human beings can't get feelings mixed up in the moment and lose themselves. No matter how professional you are, you can't still get emotional, lose your temper and have your real emotions show through. Regardless, Seth will do business, because that is his job. Triple H will decide what CM Punk does from here, not Seth and Seth certainly wasn't thinking about that in the moment. Also, all certainly crew records everything even when the show goes off the air, they have always done this even back in the 80's so what you are saying is a common industry practice, not some new revelation
I wish but seth won't lose to Punk i wouldn't think and idk if him losing is giving him his WM moment. It also wouldn't Main Event over Reigns and Rhodes (presumably) unless they main event on night 1 or something which ngl I'd have thought they'd give to a female headliner.
@@sov839It would be better neither punk nor Seth win. It would be better if they go with Damien cashing in on Seth vs Punk night 1 and actually him being the world champion
I hate Punk but I would be down for that as long as Seth gets that last match main event on WrestleMania and goes over. Punk is in the twilight of his career, there is no reason for him not to put Seth over. Especially since Seth busted his ass for TEN YEARS for WWE after Punk quit because he didn't get his way. Give him the main event but not the win. Reward loyalty not temper tantrums.
I hope they continue to have a presence in the main event team. Balor, Priest, Dom, Rhea and JD are just so good together. Hope this isn't the end for them.
Yeah was stoked to. Glad they kept Cult of Personality for his intro. When you heard that song crank up on AEW you knew you were about to see the highlight of that show. Hated to see his run at that company get derailed by a bunch of dipshits. People talking about how Punk is WWE’s problem now don’t understand that WWE doesn’t tolerate people going into business for themselves.
Those CM Punk chants warm my heart. After 9 years of chanting and begging for his return, now he's actually here and the chants aren't just intrusive antics.
I saw Orton do that in another video that was showing Rollins freakout (couldn't see Punk in that one) and all I could do was laugh as everyone was holding back Rollins and then theres Orton going "hey Phil"
@@chrispanganiban9489 if it was a work then he wouldn't have been screaming "fuck you" and flipping Punk off, also Corey Graves was seen calling Seth his real name Colby. His reaction was VERY real
There’s a handful of special crowd “Pops” in the last 30 years of wrestling: -The Road Warriors pop -The Stone Cold Steve Austin pop -The Rock pop, and; -The CM Punk in Chicago pop. Welcome back, Punk. Finish your story. ❌⚡️✊⚡️❌
It's times like these that I hate that phones have noise cancelling features in the mic because I feel like the volume of the pop got lost. All the same, this is a really cool perspective of what went down and I really appreciate that you shared it!
My opinion on Seth reaction I feel is one of those playing the middle he may very well not be ecstatic that Punk is back and Punk could very well be taking his title which may add to the anger but I just don’t buy with how long this has been going on that Seth just now all of sudden is at this point of rage and needs to be held back by…. Michael Cole lmaooo but what I do know is Triple H just got me to actually want to tune into a 3 hour Monday night Raw for the first time since 2014
nah I don't think that CM Punk gets the title, feels very off. But it's very likely they are headlining night 1 of wrestlemania with punk losing. I imagine he doesn't want the title, but its very exciting he's back. Raw will not be on repeat every week from now on which is lit. CM Punk getting interrupted by JD and getting face to face with Dom would be funny. I imagine him opening the raw this monday getting interrupted by JD or Seth most likely.
@@ashleywintle572or the fact Randy and others are just chilling in the ring cracking jokes lol even Rhea is seen in the back laughing at Seth screaming at Punk
@@xalerion6996never said for sure he was taking it but that’s the only logical thing I could think of that could make Seth act like that in front of the crowd, I’d be shocked if he didn’t open the show unless they really wanna milk it for all they can and have him start off the 2nd hour maybe
There's a lot of epic possibilities with CM Punk back it's so exciting man, hopefully those who hates him patch things up and be a professional. I imagine Seth sucking it up and work with him, he'll openly say how he hates punk on Raw like he did with Cody or Riddle.
It looks like a great work to build tention into an upcoming feud. This angle tells a bit of a story . In this camera angle you can see Punk turns his back and starts heading to the back and then Seth starts flipping the bird and swearing. Punk would not have seen Seth freaking out at him. Why did Seth wait until Punk's back was turned and he was heading to the back before flippig him off??
Also Seth wasn't doing anything until one of the guys wearing a headset went near the cage and said something to Sami, which Sami then said to Seth. You can also see Seth looking at Corey to get into position before he started to go out the cage, and the referee immediately followed after checking up on Orton as if he knew what was about to happen.
@@JamesWilsonMD yeah for real. these neck beard mouth breather fans think that just cos Punk fought with their clown EVPs (even though EVPs were the ones that kicked his door down) that nobody likes punk and everyone who say they hate him really means it and it's not a work 😂
The fact that they are already facing the entrance before his music hit shows that they already knew he was coming and any reaction afterwards is for kayfabe.
No body does big time production and execution better than the WWE. The WWE continues to create the biggest moments in all of Professional Wrestling, Sports Entertainment and all of Pro Sports. They just gave a guy his biggest career moment and as big of a Pro Wrestling moment since Austin with KO at Wrestlemania. He didn't say a word on the mic or make any Wrestling moves and hadn't been in a WWE ring since his sour departure. It tops his AEW 1st appearance pop and us right up there with an Austin and Rock surprise crowd pop.
I'll never forget that night just when I was about to get up and leave what happens CM Punk comes out and blows the roof off of Allstate Arena it was so awesome all of Chicago was lit that night
very nice footage captured from the fans perspective! was curious to know what the atmosphere was like truly like, unlike what was televised on TV. Cheers
The day Punk visited Raw and talked to Trips the deal was set in motion. Punk said I'm gonna go force Tony to fire me, start dropping hints to my return.
Checkmate...WWE. question seriously was this a bigger pop than the Rock..yo, this is amazing. The dude has in the last 2 years ..2 of the biggest pop in the last 20 years..love him or hate him. Dude got it!! Best live reaction video, I've seen. Good job
Seth Rollins hates competition, he always want to be number 1. He can't stand being number 2.. he literally thought management cares about his personal views on CM Punk. Just like roman reigns, cm Punk is money.
It's all shit he was doing ,just to build a rivalry Seth is a professional (don't believe it to be real what he did near the ring )he surely knew punk was coming back before the main event
0:39 By Randy's reaction as CM Punk's music started, he must have known just before he came out during the match. You can see Seth show his frustration and Randy not showing any reaction to it. I don't even know what the current storylines are, but I will start rewatching again just to see CM Punk in action.
Just saw an interview during WM40 the world/convention and Randy confirmed it. know. HHH told Randy, he said he was surprised and a little upset about it overshadowing his return but understood that both returns will have their own moments.
Haha Cole having a moment there, including fist pumps and just being a fan is kinda sweet, not gonna lie. Feeling such a rush after so many years in the company must still be great.
This is a great video of the whole return. I think it shows that Seth’s reaction is a work because it didn’t really look like Punk was interacting with him or saying anything towards Rollins. Punk was playing off Orton.
R Truth, Randy Orton and CM Punk returning in the Same Night was Awesome. And I have a feeling they are setting up his first feud back against Rollins.
