Walking through the Downtown area of Cannon Beach and browsing through a couple shops. This is possibly one of the best coastal towns in Oregon and a must visit. The Downtown area mainly along N Hemlock St which you can find another area shopping area and hotel clusters just down the street about a mile on S Hemlock St. There are all sorts of restaurants to dine in and gift shops to bring home some souvenirs. Getting to the beach is convenient as well as it is only about 1 city block away.
Cannon Beach has a real small town feel to it as you don't find any of the major corporate chains.

Cannon Beach is a small coastal city in northwest Oregon. It’s known for its long, sandy shore. Standing tall in the ocean, Haystack Rock is a seasonal haven for tufted puffins. On a headland to the north, trails in Ecola State Park offer sweeping views of the ocean, coves and a lighthouse. South is Arcadia Beach, with tide pools and a picnic area.
