{4K} [FIRST CLASS FULL FLIGHT] Los Angeles (LAX) - Denver (DEN) - United Airlines - Boeing 757-324 

→ How many times can you say, "I've been on the same plane twice in 24 hours - accidentally"? I can! Initially, I wasn't aware of that until I heard the annoying squeaking sound that rang in my ears the night before and realized...it was the same plane. BUT - different seating helped a little bit with the squeaking. The night before flight on this plane, I was sat in seat 6F, whereas on this flight, I was seated in seat 6A.
→ This was the first United departure of the morning, so the whole experience was painless and easy. What was still in pain was my stomach from the United catering the day before - and it was even worse on this flight. I, once again, pre-ordered the ricotta-filled crepe for the breakfast meal, and, once again, the meal 'magically' didn't get loaded. Wonder how that happened, United? 3 of the 3 pre-ordered meals were not loaded. Strange. I was then left with one choice of meals left over and that was the frittata with potatoes, chicken sausage, sauteed spinach, and a cheddar cheese sauce. Oh. My. Gosh. Where do I even start? I'm not one to complain about food offerings - and tend to badmouth other RU-vidrs who complain - but this was absolutely horrendous. Beyond inedible. I think the egg was the only thing on this plate (seen at 52:55) that was remotely cooked through. The potatoes were STILL FROZEN, the spinach tasted like it was sauteed in dirt and the chicken sausage was closer to chicken jerky. Did I eat it? Most of it. I stopped at the spinach. I absolutely tore up the fruit, yogurt, and croissant served on the side though! The gentleman who sat next to me practically spat the food out and gagged. United has got to get better catering - or the business consequences may be dire.
→ The flight itself though was rather enjoyable - just long enough to get comfortable, but not too comfortable. The seat was wide and well-padded and the foldable headrest was a godsend as I somehow lost my neck pillow sometime between Bakersfield the night before and this flight. What I want you to pay attention to is the landing. There were at least 2 moments where I was convinced we were going around - see if you can pick the moments out and comment below! I hope you enjoy this full flight as much as I did, except for the food, all the flight information you could ever desire can be found below!
