We love those mid-range 4k Cameras, very little separates them these days. It comes down to shooting preference mostly.

Nicely done. Seems like a really great camera. The only problem is the lack of EVF, but not a huge deal for most.

This is actually a very underrated camera and it's quite sad because of the hidden potential, its overshadowed by the fs7 and c200 while its a unique cam of its own... i think im gonna buy one just because of the 5.7k sensor

Great overview. Question: When shooting in UHD 4k does the camera utilize the whole sensor resolution/readout and then down sample to 4K, or does it just crop in to 4K?

That is a very weird omission! Where is Kinefinity?? I suppose they could have maaaaaaybe included RED Raven as well? But might have kinda stretched the budget a little.

OK when shooting VLOG on EVA1 they say you should expose 1-2 stops more. How do I know I’m + 1-2 stops? Which meter in camera should I be using for this?

I see the sensor mode can be set to m4/3, is there an m4/3 lens to EF mount adapter available? That would be useful with all the m4/3 glass I have invested in.

You can adapt EF lenses to m4/3 but you cant go the other way. Since EF has a longer flange distance than M4/3 the adapter simply adds the difference. But an adapter can't put the lens closer to the sensor than the actual mount allows for so it doesnt really work.

Sadly no you can not put MFT on EF :-( Was a bit screw up by Panasonic to not offer the EVA1 in their very own MFT mount!! Left many faithful GH owners very upset :-/

@@SoundSpeeding Exactly why the EVA1 disappointed me so much. Still rocking the GH4 and waiting for JVC to update the LS300 with a more ergonomic shoulderable version.

the dumbest thing about this camera is the fact that it has a huge battery charger but it requires you to use the power adapter that you could instead use to power the camera!!!
