I usually reserve the Saturday morning upload slot for much longer flights, but this was such a cool and scenic flight that I wanted everyone to be able to watch it. Enjoy!
The moment when you hear the captain saying cabin crew prepare for take off and you had a windows seat behind the wing feels so awesome it's the seat I alwayz book during my flights . My favourite part of all is the taking off n listening to the roaring of those jet engines 😊
Cayman's livery is based on the national coat of arms for the Cayman Islands. The coat of arms features a turtle which represents the seafaring history of the islands inhabitants. The turtle in the actual coat of arms is much more true to what green sea turtles actually look like. I believe the version here is simply designed to fit better on the aircraft and with the rest of the livery. I believe it's intended to still be the same green sea turtle though. So, a happy ninja turtle isn't too far off for this stylization haha.
This is the exact type of flight I love the feature. The ones that most people don't even realize exist. A short hop from one tropical island to another on a 737-8 Max. I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend!
Hello and good evening my dear friend from Bacolod City in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Sunday night almost 10pm and getting ready to sleep! I'm watching this magnificent video as usual that you shot! Any wild cayman on the MAX 8? 😅😅 Hope your Sunday is a pleasant one young man! Give your family my love and support ❤️ Hope all is well with you and your family and friends! Take care always and God bless 😊😊 See ya later alligator after a while crocodile 🐊 😉
Being a regular visitor to the philippines, BCD airport is very nice but more emphasis is needed in keeping the CR both in the arrival and departure areas clean..luv the city of smiles..
@BB-dp4kh Yes absolutely I understand regarding the restrooms there! This unfortunately is a very common problem inside the Philippines and Bacolod City specifically? Either the lack of restrooms in public or more importantly the cleanliness!! This if difficult to adjust to being an American like myself hahaha 😆 I'm always amazed at seeing men out in public urinating wherever!! The City of Smiles is turning into the City of Smells unfortunately 😕
I doubt you struggle with any anxiety from flying, but do you have any tips for us that do? I’m pretty terrified of getting on a plane due to fear of heights / anxiety but want to get over this fear eventually. Love the videos though!
mrbiggie, i have the same issues. mainly fear of turbulence. not sure when it developed or how. my dad worked for airlines for all 18 yrs i was at home then i got hired by the airlines after the military i have been flying for most of my life (50 yrs) but 2 yrs ago i developed a pretty big fear of turbulence. i found that if you go to a flight school near you and go up 3-4 times where you are in control of the plane and hit some bumps. it surprisingly will help you stay more relaxed the next time you are a passenger and run into that. i am training to be a pilot since that was my dream as a kid so that is why i went to flight school but i noticed that last few times i have flown when we hit bumps i did not turn ghost white and almost pass out. so that was a side benefit.
Well, you are correct that I do not struggle with this, and I never have. So, I don't have any firsthand experience to share. What I can share is what people have told me has worked for them over the years. You may be surprised to find out that my wife actually has a lot of anxiety towards flying. But, over the years she has overcome most of them, and has even flown on flights from DFW-Hawaii as well as transatlantic flights. For her, it's become me that she relies on. She has found that by flying with me, someone she loves and trusts, allows her to calm her anxieties. So for her, it's having someone with her that can help keep her calm. If you have someone like that, then perhaps it would work for you. Another tool, and I'm not just saying this to get you to watch more of my videos haha, but many MAnY people have left comments on my videos telling me that by watching my videos regularly, has massively helped them overcome this anxiety. Not only that, but I've had people leave comments that their therapists recommended my channel to them for this exact reason. And that's how they found my channel. Exposing yourself to your fears and anxieties form the comfort of a comfortable setting, where you can switch it off if needed is a great way to help train your mind. So, on that front you're already doing something that has helped others. What Danny suggested is also a great way to overcome this anxiety. I know it may seem counterproductive, but... As Danny said. Sometimes you being in control of the situation helps your mind understand and be more relaxed with similar stations on a commercial flight that you may struggle with now. I know a few people who have done this to help them overcome a fear towards flying. Another method is the distraction method. Have that audiobook, music, and tv show you're watching all ready to go, get you some noise canceling headphones, and escape to a different world during the flights. Although, the views out the window are pretty awesome. You know the funny thing? I'm actually afraid of heights. I always have been. I cannot even look over the railing of a tall building without getting weak at the knees. But, heights have never bothered me when I'm in a plane. Can't really explain it. Maybe it's just because I'm fully enclosed in aircraft, but never once have I ever experienced that fear when looking out the window of a plane. Different things work for different people. So it may take some experimenting to figure out what works best for you. But don't five up. Traveling the world and seeing all these beautiful places in person is worth it my friend! If you ever have any questions about flying or the process that you think will help ease your anxieties don't hesitate to ask them here. I am more than happy to explain things, and I always respond to questions left in comments. I hope that all helps, or gives you some ides to try.
The best way to curb your anxiety of flying is to learn more about aviation. The basics helps. It makes a difference to understand what's happening and to learn how safe flying has become.
@@sla31thank you for the extremely encouraging, thoughtful, and helpful response! I really appreciate it and will definitely be watching more of your videos to become more acclimated with flying. It’s good to hear that others struggle with the same things and have found ways to still enjoy / become capable to fly. Hoping I become as comfortable as you some day!
@@incarnateTheGreatfor sure!! Aviation has always fascinated me, I’ll look more into it and see if I can reduce anxiety fully knowing the science behind it.
@@sla31 I've been to St. Kitts in '86 on the way from JFK to POS on an L-1011. The runway is built near the base of a mountain and the east end is high above the ocean. All the U.S. majors fly there, except SW, particularly in high season.
@@TheFamilyman7 I’ve actually been to St. Kitts before. It was one of the first international destinations I ever featured on the channel. That was a long time ago though. I’d love to go back!
Tommorow i’m flying home sadly. But i am flying the max for the first tim.I’ve flown like ever 737 ever😭But my first on the max i’ve flown the B733,B735,B737,B7378 and i’ve been in a B737-200 and -100.and then the second flight is on a good ol 737-7H4
Which Chinatown? There are Chinatowns in all kinds of major cities across the globe. I have been to many of them, but I'm not sure which one you're referring to.
The cities/airports are listed in the title with their three letter codes because RU-vid limits titles to 100 characters. In this case, that’s CYB and GCM. I cannot spell out the whole thing, or the two airports would take up the entire title. I then list the cities and states, or cities and countries in full, with their respective three letter codes in the description, so anyone who is unfamiliar with the specific codes can reference that. In this case that’s Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands (CYB) and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (GCM).
