Don't be afraid dude, night flights are safe such as diurnal flights. These kinda planes are equipped with things called "Flight Instruments" which are used to guide and give orientation to the crew (pilots). So, you don't need to worry about night flights! I think that diurnal flights are better 'cause I like to see the "little" things on the ground. just this haha.

I have been on a plane when they hit turbulence due to thunderstorms and when the plane was landing they came into Chicago really fast and had to slam on the breaks to slow the plane down

Yes, I suggest you to set as high volume, in that way you can also either lower or edit sound level on the software.

Imo its scary bruh, only just seeing the wing with the lights.. with complete darkness. Maybe because i'm accustom flying in the day but I only flew in the night once.
