I'm sure it would have been interesting to see two (or even more) super hard AIs fighting each other in a battle to death to the sound of this music in the background. Although I'm not sure that it would last the whole length of the video. But yeah, I agree!
Yeah, I think this is just a misconception on back when RU-vid's encoding/transcoding DID affect audio. But that hasn't been a thing anymore for QUITE a long time.
@@kazzy7318 not since 2014, all audio is in 192kbps AAC stream regardless of bitrate. Close your eyes, and have a friend randomly pick resolutions and see if you can "hear" the difference.
Don't get me wrong, ost is great, but a video in 4K is overkill if you just display a wallpaper static image. Audio quality gets nowhere better as 4K video quality does not affect audio quality at all - audio has it's own compression methods and can be totally sh*t in 4K as well as in 360p or vice versa.
RU-vid pairs audio compression and video compression based on video quality. The higher the video quality preset available, the better the audio quality available. I'm not sure if there is any difference between the 1080p audio stream and the 4k audio stream, but anything below 1080p is noticeably lower bitrate.
@@Cup_70 Not sure this is the case anymore. Whatever the case, the still image lets the compression algorithm work wonders, so the video part itself is probably just 1-2 frames of data. It's just a higher quality background image at a negligible cost.
It's a shame that Hell March is the one that typifies this OST for most. There are so many gems in this soundtrack! Mud, Groundwire, Roll Out, Run, Fogger, Big Foot, Voice Rhythm...too many to name, really.
Hell March is a soundscape, it encapsulates Red Alert perfectly, and it was used in the introduction video. Holy hell that video when I first booted up Red Alert, so awesome (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qtb4uow940c.html&ab_channel=Acidhead303). I think Big Foot is probably the second most memorable soundtrack, as it was the first track you'd hear when you started playing.
Workmen and Smash were always my favorites in addition to the rest of the Red Alert soundtrack. Fogger and Wasteland were always kind of the oddball favorites from the original C&C Gold soundtrack.
@@kellneyoctin2099 Ok, I can see we might be talking about different things now. I thought you meant RA2's main theme, Grinder, but that's not a remaster, but a Tiberian Sons revision. So I was off there. But if you meant RA1 as the "second game" (after C&C), then the main menu theme is in there at 01:59:38.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV, Jesus Christ is the only way......
And here I thought "reading the bible made me an atheist" was just common sense. Hi from a former Christian. Please stop this. It's useless to convert someone via text! Just while I'm at it, converting someone by a way of life or verbally speaking to someone doesn't help either. Because "being a witness, living the life like Christ intended" just creeps people out since it's just Virtue Signaling in disguise.
