I don't film like that anymore as I agree with you, it's not a good idea. So the last two videos don't do that.

It purposely does that, the platform can only fit 7 cars so the S8 stock has to overshoot on purpose to fit as many cars as they can.

@KOOTHA KOOTHA the Met is my closest line, and I can tell you for fact that it goes underground. I'm also 100% sure that the Circle and District also go underground for a lot of the journey.

@KOOTHA KOOTHA and H&C goes underground too, because it stops at Kings Cross.

@London Underground Tube trains I’ll be sure you let you know. If you are looking to buy a new microphone, I recommend the Blue Yeti. I have one myself and have been using it for nearly a year.

@@skullgeezer7174 thanks, they look really good. I couldn't find a Blue Yeti one which is Bluetooth and discreet to work with my phone as the USB port on it isn't very reliable anymore. They also seem to be for close up sound such as with podcasting and not far away sounds like tube trains Do you have any ideas?

From what I've been told it's fine to use just your mobile phone. They don't want you using any more than that such a tripods, or a camcorder. Also the driver's don't like it if you film into their cabs, which is why I stand 2 metres back from the front of the train.

Such a good question! I saw another person doing that so their reflection is not caught in the windows as the train goes past. They did it so the video was about the trains and not them. I didn't used to do it and so that's not on my earlier videos. I might stop doing it because it looks a bit rubbish and means viewers see less of the trains.

Another RU-vid person was doing it and seemed like a good idea. I won't be filming anymore like that as I agree with you, it's not a good idea. So the last two videos don't do that. Please can you tell me about turning the camera when the train departs as I really want to improve the videos?

@@LondonUndergroundTubetrains so with the turning with the camera you take quite long because the train leaves the platform and the camera films the track for a couple of seconds then you turn. What I was saying is that as soon as the train leaves the frame of the camera turn towards the train

Mine is the Central Line, only because it's where I grew up and so have early memories of it. However I agree with your choice, especially as the Jubilee is a newer line and the newest bits are so well done and efficient.

@@LondonUndergroundTubetrains In fact, I like the subsurface lines more. But the bakerloo and picadilly lines are great too! There is so much history to be seen down there.

Very good question. I did not manage to do Waterloo and City, and DLR lines. Just realised that the Metropolitan Line is on there and I forgot to count it, so there's actually 11 lines on the video.

I'm really sorry to hear that, the sound is different but I haven't heard that before. Personally I find it is a lower pitch and smoother than most other lines, especially on the newer parts of the line. I wonder if other people have the same thing?

Weirdly I like it

The Jubilee line as trains leave stations makes a different sound on purpose! Its to stop other sounds that mess up the the London Underground's signalling network.
