Just finished a playthrough on RPCS3, thanks to your guide and some research, man it sucks that turning the color filter off screws up codecs and other things, at least it does on my copy, is that the case for you or am I doing something wrong?

@@DustinFerriss yes sadly y happens on every version , I don't know why 😞 , I'm very glad you got to play the game again and finish it 💪 I'm on my second playthrough now after getting it to work , I really missed the game

@@LLRTV Me 2, i remember beating MGS1 in 98/99 when I was 10, then the second one came out right after i had a major surgery and it was a get better gift, i got snake eater and subsistence pre ordered when they came out, mgs4 i had to wait to borrow a friends ps3 to play it, mgsv i got on launch, MGS4 is one of my favorites of the franchise if it wasnt for snake eater and mgs1 it would be my favorite

Nice !!! MGS 1 is my favorite, then 3 then 4 and last 2 , I didn't like 5 too much , I remember playing 1 borrowed from a friend and I played. The crap out of it , it's my favorite game of all time

Removing the color filter look natural alive and colorful, but it's a bit over saturated, that need to tune down a bit to look the best.

I prefer the lack of filter, it makes the texture mapping pop out. Makes me wonder if all the artists were told how the filter was going to be applied, or if any was going to be applied in the furst place. 🤔

I wish someone would take that god-awful character lighting off and add some ssao or RTX lighting as a replacement. Always hated how crushed the shadows looked in this game and how blindingly shiny everybody's body was

This scene is where the back side of Drebin head was missing texture and draw distance was short/low. I got over it but im wondering is this happens because this is my first time playing the game so its building up the shaders or something?

I think the color filter makes the game have better color theory, even though it made all the 7th gen games look the same.

While it does look kinda nice just feel it takes away from the kinda hopeless undertone of the entire game some sections basically match the style like Europe but my personal opinon is keeping it how it is for the full effect.

Yea the personality is gone , but it makes it look so good
