I went on this in 2018 and yes I knew I would get wet but wow I didn’t plan on getting soaked lol!!! I’m going back this Sunday and will be much better prepared with waterproof sandals because I had a blast on this ride!
i loved this ride, although i found it odd how people were getting on with ponchos considering thats the point of the ride and the seats were already wet
On my trip to Orlando this summer, I skipped this ride purely because of the drop I saw which I immediately knew was probably this ride. Edit: Nevermind, it’s an entirely different ride called Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw falls.
I went on this today, I knew it was a water ride, didn't think it'd be that bad, was a cloudy day for florida aswell. I did wonder why there was literally no queue and we walked straight on. There was actually a bigger queue for the dryer machine outside
I think I went on the ride on the same day as you. The way the lines were described matches perfectly with how it was for me, and the weather was the same.
You will not get wet on this ride. You will not be sprinkled on on this ride. BUCKETS of water will be thrown on you unavoidably. And you WILL end up SOAKED!! Bring an extra set of clothes and shoes for this ride, you won't regret it!
You WILL get soaked on this ride. Don’t think like, oh maybe is a sprinkle, NOPE! You will be soaked. They have sings everywhere saying that too. Ppl can also spray you with a water gun from the bridges above, it is so much fun! Bring extra sandals, bathing suit bottoms and a small towel. Do not do this ride last unless you have a change of clothes. I did this in the afternoon along with the other water rides and the sun will dry you in like 15 mins.
When I went to Universal, I’d couldn’t go on the ride because it was closed. But one thing I did do was get my picture taken with Popeye and Olive Oyl.
I love this ride and I go on it like 2 times a day and people wearing the rain thingys you call it like don’t wear those if the whole point of the ride is to get wet but I recommend wearing WATER SHOES or CROCS or FLIP FLOPS cuz last time I went I had tennis shoes and they got so wet the little cart had lots of water in it
Looks so fucking fun. It's actually a longer ride than I thought and I loved the scenery. I'm poor so I'll never have the chance to experience that in person lol
@@leeharris7415 Yeah, just like Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls (the Universal Studios equivalent of Splash Mountain), where you also get even wetter after going down the toilet!😄
Can girls wear just a bathing suit on this ride? Guys should wear just bathing trunks. Neither should wear socks, shoes, or sneakers - bring/wear flipflops & extra shirts. I got wet enuf just once on the Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls ride too, but back in the less crowded days of 2000 in sept on a weekday, i was able to ride splash mountian 14 consec time w/o getting wet!
