Hey Nick!! I see the Boeing factory is wide open!! LOL!! No moss under those wheels!! 😉😉 Nice to see the grounds crews and the wing walkers!! Interesting 'naked' Sun Country!! Enjoyed your story of coming to watch USAir(ways) planes land when you were little. When my son was little(now 31), and before 9-1-1, I used to take him to PIT at least once a month. We'd make a day of it: watch the afternoon rush, go inside and have dinner and shop, then go back out for the evening rush. PIT was a USAir(ways) hub at the time also. I have a ton of pics of the airplanes as well. One time when we were watching, someone from one of the hangars came up and took us back to tour the hangar!! My son got his 'wings'. That was really special!! We had a blast!! Beautiful filming!! Thanks for all you do!! 💕✈✈💕
Excellent good video, mr NickFlies. A good filmed shot of a naked Suncountry airlines. All spotters at Amsterdam Schiphol waiting when this airline coming to Amsterdam for a dry lease during the summer season to Transavia. Hope this airplane looks great. Today(sunday may 29) nothing special at Amsterdam Schiphol. Hope you and girlfriend have a nice weekend at Cincinnati, waiting on your next video. A planespotter from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, home of KLM and hub of Delta. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.
Spent my career at CMH starting with AL in the 1970s. At that time, there was only 16 gates total & 1 jetway that DL used. l vividly remember when we moved to Concourse A in 1992. It was not the right time to move because it was about 2 weeks before Christmas, the flights were all full, we went from a 2 gate operation to a 7 gate one. With all the additional computers & other new technology, we had all kinds of issues to iron out before operation was smooth. We should have waited for the move in January when flights aren't very full. I see in your video, CMH still has the Airborne Express Caravelle on display. Did you see any MX flights land on the north runway ?
That is an amazing story. I did not see anything on the north runway but I was not there very long this time. Maybe next time! They have done a nice job laying out the airport, especially for parking and have the groundwork laid for expansion. I would imagine that they get something international soon, especially with the growth in the Columbus region.
Thank God for G4 at LCK. When it was just a cargo hub and AFR base it was hard to spot over there! Hopefully they don't pull out of there like they did CLE.
@@NickFliesMedia I doubt that would happen at LCK. G4 has been there since 2013 & carried just under 310,000 passengers in 2019 (using pre-COVID stats). They are already near those numbers for 2022, with 75,000 passengers carried the first 4 months. They have a newish terminal with jetways (built in 2003) to themselves with a few charters by SY. It's a hassle free terminal with close parking.
@@NickFliesMedia I agree and we see a lot of southwest flights everyday nonstop and you are right because Columbus can be a great city to watch southwest planes come in and out.
@@NickFliesMedia Wow. WN has cut more flights than I realized. From their peak of 43 week day departures 3 or 4 years ago, it's now down to 28 according to their website. They still fly to 20 cities nonstop either year round or seasonal but some of the city pairs they used to fly to multiple times a day now only have 1 daily.
@@NickFliesMedia i just came across your video. Great video. You said you was in the garage did it cost any thing to park in there. I use the cell phone when i go to plane spotting but there is only an hour limit and then you have to leave drive around the airport then go back. Im trying to find new areas around the Airport to watch.
