Why don't you like using ITC, especially since you have Atlas? I feel they offer much better value compared to Marriot. For example, in Ahmedabad, a 2-night stay in ITC Narmada (one of the best hotels in Gujarat) currently costs 18500 green points (1 edge mile = 2 green points). In contrast, Marriot Ahmedabad charges 30,000 MB points (1 edge mile = 3 MB points) for 2 nights. Similarly, in Bengaluru, I always stay in ITC Windsor for 5250 green points a night, which is a steal for such an iconic property. I would like to know if I can find better deals in Accor and Marriot. Maybe I need to do something differently. As I often see, most people prefer Marriot & Accor over ITC. Thanks!
Thanks for this question - here are my thoughts basically see you have a limited number of points and ITC properties are limited in number. For someone who is travelling domestically and staying only in locations with itc properties, it may make sense. otherwise it's better to transfer to Marriott even if you have to book ITC from there. I am more loyal to Marriott so that counts. Since I travel internationally, number of options is huge compared to barely anything for ITC for one off redemptions, you can always transfer to ITC. I will not be doing it regularly though
