4K: STORMY DONNER PASS 5-27-2019 

Very cool catches! Beautiful scenery too!

Fond memories. My son and family live in Reno but previously resided a short walk from the grade crossing in Soda Springs, then on Donner Lake where I could hike up to the tunnel and the vista point for the horseshoe curve or often just sit at the Truckee RR station. Rode the Zephyr from Sacramento to Reno, too.

It snowed in northern Arizona this weekend, kept the ski hills open through Memorial Day, first time in history.

Superb area to be and know Colfax and Truckee well having being there personally winter of 2018 with family How many times are you going to photograph the same train just from differing angles ? You need to vary this or at least explain what you are doing Good photography and sound Thanks anyway

I DESPISE THESE 4K VIDEOS ... THE LENSES ELONGATE THE CARS AND ENGINES INTO HIDEOUS CARICATURES ... AND ALL TOO FREQUENTLY THE TRAINS ARE RUNNING AT EXAGGERATED SPEEDS ...

It was boring looking at the same trains time after time, needed to be more original. Keep trying you might get it right some day.
