Really was amazing. I am hard rock all the way and I saw her at Hyde Park over the summer in London. She can belt a rocker as good as anyone. Great show.
she is just one of those musicians where even if you dont like her music, she is an AMAZING performer! Another big plus is she treats her band really well. Most artists just pay their musicians shit for money and treat them like replaceable garbage but she takes really good care of her bandmates. Very humble woman.
I think Pink has always been a pop star with a rock persona. She has always been amazing and she fits right in on this stage. Her and Dave are among a very small fraternity of artists that are almost universally adored. I think the world needs a Pink/Foos co-headlining tour.
True that. Saw her the first time in 2002 with Lenny Kravitz. She could have been the headliner! She visited the Foos @ Bottlerock 2021 and came back the next year to play a phenomenal concert. I mean epic! We rode the front rail but with here acrobatics you had a front row seat 100yds out!! I can’t believe I’m saying this but she topped Metallica. Glad to see her out of the Covid funk. She is having so much fun. Great performance. Great show. MORE PLEASE!
Why are people surprised that she did good? Pinks voice has been phenomenal since she came out in 1998. And she has a god given rock voice. Powerhouse, raspy voice. A shame she does pop music
Saw here live in 2014 on the Truth About Love tour. Got roped into going with my wife. Was always a fan, but figured it would be more pop than I wanted for 2 hours. Nope. Probably one of the best "rock" shows I've ever seen. Her band is insane. Justin Derrico is a MONSTER guitar player & she lets him shred at will. All of her pop songs, sounded rock. It was amazing. Oh yeah... and she can sing. This was a match made in heaven. They need to write a song or 10 together.
My wife couldn't sell a P!nk ticket last minute so I said fuck it and went. I've been a die hard punk and rock fan since I was a teen. P!nk was easily the best show I've ever seen that wasn't rock. It was fantastic. She killed this song.
Pink and the ff are the cynical products of a global elite determined to beat the population into submission to ensure their ever growing piles of money never get back into the hands of plebes from which they have stolen it .Dave Grohole fancies himself as the uber gent ,the pinnacle of the Eugenicist’s dream.... you know ... all woke and macho , empathetic, rebellious, non drug addicted, happy family man , so pure never to be touched by the dark side, living the once was American now global dream. The music is rehashed ,sanitised, obvious, vacuous, faux emotional, faux musical, mind raping , etheric body destroying toxic bile.
as great as she is Dave is able to go past what should be his limit where she is still in full control. I think for a song like this Daves 0 fucks approach works better. I have always liked Pink though so I'm not hating on her it just shows how damn good Dave is.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this version! Pink's voice and the Foo's intensity...AMAZING! After watching these tributes I keep thinking wouldn't it be great to see more mashup concerts like these?! I mean it's just cool to watch musician's jam with other musicians! The air is electric!
All musicians involved in both of these events are so genuinely happy to be on that stage...and that, is what playing music is all about..as sad as losing Taylor is, bringing all of these folks together, is the most awesome of an event, to imagine! Kudos to Mr. Grohl and all the others involved!
I love the fact that she genuinely knows the song. Like, I didn’t doubt she would know the chorus, but to know the actual song when she wasn’t at the mic, and improv small parts. I just love it so much and want them to collaborate on an album
@caronte008 I am not a Pink fan but hell she came out singin the song--no monitor-- and she was songin along without the monitor as well when just Dave was singin. Granted they did rehearsals to do this but from watchin her she listens to Foo Fighters.
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 WOW THAT was AWESOME!!! & let me say despite the fact that P!NK is considered a “Pop” artist SHE OWNED her singing parts of this Tribute!!! ROCK ON! 🤘🏼😆🤘🏼
Some musicians just have that perfect vibe and atitude. Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Pink, Alanis Morissette, Eddie Vedder, Amy Lee, Bowie, Cobain, Buckley... no ego, no pretenses, no bullsht, just genuine humans doing what they really love. You know it when you see it, and it's a big part of what makes them great.
P!nk is so special, i usually listen to melodic death metal, hard rock and minimal electro/deep house and i'm not into pop music at all, but what she does is just so awesome that i can listen to it just fine. her voice is sensational, her aura is so natural, believably real and her attitude on stage always lives up to what fans imagine or expect from her at concerts. she never seems artificial, or overweening. she is aware of her privileged position, but she has always kept both feet on the ground. i'd be very happy if she did a rock cover album, or a feat. sing along with other rock bands. her range is just so enormous that other singers should treat themselves hearing their music in P!nk's voice. incredibly brilliant this young woman!
Pink is a great lady and her voice is very goosebumping. I love her so much. Dave Grohl is an Organization Talent. Thanks for the wonderful magical moments on this night. 🙏🙏🙏
Pink rocks! Hard! I got funhouse live in Sydney, it cooks! Been a fan ever since. Foo fighters my favorite. So is Hendrix. This is phenomenal. Rock on !
I was at the show (in the pit - I'm visible in the crowd quite a bit in this video), and just watched this for the first time since that incredible night. Once again, the performance gave me chills. The power of rock and roll, the power of community, the power of love - it was all in the air that night.
Yes so true. The emotions from that nite , she’s a great performer. How lucky I am to have seen her twice in one year! Thank you Taylor and Pink. DMAO all nite long. More please!
I love that Pink performed with the Foos and she has always been a rocker and a punk as well. You can tell in the performance that she is a fan and is singing along with Dave.
She sounds and fits herself into any kind of music, I would love to see her in concert, that's on my bucket list for sure she's absolutely amazing inside and out and beautiful ❤.
P!nk and Foo fighters>>>>> P!nk has always been my Idol, a huge inspiration for me. But my dad used to put me Foo fighters in the car and I've grown up listening to them as well, however, when I got into metal about two years ago I discovered bands that I like more (Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Megadeth...) but Foo fighters has a special place in my heart as well ❤️.
I cannot think of a better person to do this song with Foos! P!nk has always let her freak flag fly refusing to be like the others. Loved this so much.
Pink is such a bad ass!! I’ve always wondered how she went pop bc she has always seem more of a rocker to me- regardless of her choice she is an absolute bad ass! I’ve always been a fan of hers and to add her with my foos, oh man this is awesome!!!!
Insane how good both of them sound individually. Dave sounds better than the record and then their voices combined is like peanut butter and jelly. Her voice was crazy perfect for the slow parts.
