The fact that they prepared this comeback for their fans for so long really shows how grateful and loving these girls are, you have groups that won’t even bat an eye towards each other after being together for so many years, but the love and support that these girls have for one another is just on another level.
yes, they've been doing this for so long it makes me so FKIN angry with these new gen children and haters. been a SONE since their debut and i was telling my my girlfriend's sister (shes 21) about it. her response? "they're just releasing a comeback cuz of jessica's book" and im like SNSD HAS BEEN WORKING SO LONG ON THIS. but of course, she's ARMY... typical. im too old for this.

@@patsu1025 Kids these days just chase after trends. Like if some ppl like it then they have to like it too ( even though they might not truly like it) in order to be relatable and trendy. If a group seems badass and dramatic then they tend to fall for it however the friendships and relationships between members they go for tends to be superficial as seen from a deeper perspective. They dislike elegant concepts and deem them to be having no strange presence when clearly the genre of the group/song is really not hip hop or rock that needs agressive dancing and looking badass with a scowl or seductive look always on their faces. Also introduction of lipsync and no live vocals really downgrade talented groups as they are kept on same pedastal( if not lower) than some untalented groups. And I also guarantee that most of the fans of the really popular groups ryt now only know two three groups but talk and act like they have studied phD in kpop. Also due to the westernization of kpop the true original essence of kpop is quite lost nowadays. Haha looks like I ranted quite a lot but still one shouldn't take these fake fans seriously cause one true fan that stays loyal for 10+ years is more valuable than a million fans. And btw I'm a young sone( like young in age 19-21 years range but have been a fan since 2009!) and snsd us the only group I stanned and will stan in the kpop industry. Truly THE LEGENDS.
Omg, I had the same thought too. The day I had my hands on the Forever 1 physical album, it rained so hard and the area where I live has been in extreme drought for a long long time. It's like Forever 1 album to Sone is that important and meaningful as water to drought.

It's rare to get this much insight into the creation of a kpop album, I really enjoy it. It's even better knowing how much care and love all the members put into this comeback. It makes it even more meaningful to us knowing it's meaningful to them too. I hope SNSD know how seeing them come back so strong has made us SONEs feel strong too!
Not many idols have shown their behind-the-scenes meetings like this when preparing for their new album. Like choosing the single, recording in the studio, etc. Often times, fans just see the final result. It's nice of SNSD to take everyone behind the scenes in how they prepared for this album, almost a whole 2 years ahead.
Tiffany has recently shared that SM wanted to throw SNSD a single but the our girls fought back saying "Girls'Generation and sone deserve a full album". No other artist share what snsd has with sone, it's so beautiful

SM initially had them planned for just a single, but they fought to have a full album. Not sure why SM would even go that direction with SNSD. SNSD is their biggest girl group ever, even after all these years. Glad the girls used their voices and we were blessed with a great album.
being a SONE is really something special because it's not just about how the girls react towards their fans, but its about how they react with each other. We're stanning a group that genuinely love each other as much as they love their fans. We have groups that fake chemistry w each other and forget about fans years after they've become successful and gone worldwide. Here, these girls are all pursuing different things in different countries and they've come back together to prepare Forever 1 comeback for SONES. Nothing beats stanning a group that's not only talented - but are genuine. SNSD will forever be kpop's history imo. They're the OG and they're still shining. I love these girls.
the same intro was actually the one that triggered Hyoyeon's tears at SMTown. IMO you can actually see her start to cry right when yuri sang her part (and the ITNW intro played simultaneously)

Their 15th album is the BEST! All the songs are cohesive, we can hear each member unique voice... This is how an album release should be in the kpop industry, their artists should involved in creating the album.
These new fans are assumed that us SONE are bitter for having no wins in Forever1 era but for us this is a celebration for SNSD & SONE not every girl group can last this long in this industry and actually we've been done that having wins in music shows 100 times.
True. Forever 1 is for the fans. Soshi won everything there is to win, and has nothing to prove anymore 15 years in. Hell, Taeyeon alone is more successful than some other girlgroups....
Precisely,.. They think that SNSD is still in the same conversation with those 3rd generation Brats, and 4th generation punks... These girls has nothing left to prove.
I watched them at an outdoor concert way back in 2013 and I saw then that these girls are real perfectionists. During rehearsals, their music suddenly cut off and you can visibly see their “that can’t happen later” faces. That was slightly scary lol. Although they were not going full energy during the rehearsal, they didn’t leave until all the kinks were solved. That wasn’t even a solo concert. Can’t imagine them half-assing an album. Sometimes I wish companies didn’t release albums just because the fans expected one album a year + a repackage. It also rushes the promotion, like, in 2nd gen, they used to have 9-week long promos but now it’s just 2 weeks. Sometimes they don’t even promote on shows.
I honestly think it would be diffcult for 2nd gen to promote more than 2 weeks. Most of them has other career they have to considered; at their age, idoling is no longer their only breadmaker. Take Yoona for example; apart from SNSD cb, she also busy with her new movie, at least one extremely popular drama (Big Mouth), and many other endorsements (she's the face of Estee Lauder Korea if I remember correctly). I cant imagine she's have the time and energy for long promotions.

The whole album is just pure Girl's Generation. It's their own unique sound we Sones love so much. I got so emotional listening to it for the first time, and I still do months later 🥰
I've been crying happy tears since the start of August because of Girls Generation. Their videos makes me laugh out loud in a way I haven't felt in a long time. Thank you GG for putting so much work and content for the 15th year aniversary! All the songs are so heartwarming or powerful and fun.
Others might seen 5 years as a very long time that our Soshi took to discuss for this cb. But this album is top tier quality! And instead of being rushed, we all can feel how all the members pour their heart for this cb. The details, the completeness. 15 years are perfect anniversary for them to make comeback. This is Girls’ Generation!

What I loved most about this comeback is that they enjoyed it. I think they had burnout before this comeback. So I am happy for that 5 year break because it allowed them to grow and to heal. More than past comebacks their love for each other really shined this time. It gives me so much comfort that they truly have each other backs. I am okay if they never release another album if they stop enjoying the process. All things come to an end. But their friendship and sisterhood must last forever as we fans can only cheer from a distance while they cheer and love each other personally. This comeback proves the girls are alright. SNSD is strong. GG is forever 1.

Actually, if things were like before, we would've been like "shouldn't we release an album, since we promised to ?" The album was carefully crafted for several months, if not years. So much love is put into every track, each opinion of the girls heard and valued, and that they didn't put so much pressure to release it just because. It was definitely worth the wait.
I'm so proud of them how mature and beautiful they are and the fact that they prepared this awesome gift for us (SONES) with so much love and carefully so we can enjoy it. Forever 1 is by far my favorite song after ITNW. Funny cause is the first one and the last one. The connection between both makes sense. Thank you SNSD for giving us the greatest gift ever.
