Dude, the way they subtly use the opening sample at 5:13 is something I haven’t really seen in any other HBHG renditions, but I absolutely love it. Genius.
Dude, I popped off with almost every transition. HBHG into get yourself high (which I haven’t even seen them perform live before) is SO hype and from what it looked like it was going into music: response which would have been SICK but unfortunately it cut off for some reason and now I will forever be wanting the missing parts of this. And then it cut to EBW 7 which again I have not seen them perform live before so that was super hype too, but then that into setting sun was SERIOUSLY MEGA HYPE dude, the Golden path isn’t really my favorite so I wasn’t too hype for that, but other than that I knew and loved all of the other songs shown in this set which is not something I can say for others. I just wish there weren’t things cut up so I could have seen music:response and potentially something else that would have made me pop off.
Do they go into elektrobank or maybe even piku at the end there? i absolutely need to see it, sucks that only this part of the performance is available
If this isn't modern day ritual spirit evoking I dont know what is. "Superstar DJs, here we go, get yourself high, you are all my children now (satanic clown image, traveling down the red vortex), youre the devil in me, please forgive me, I never meant to hurt you."(as you come out of the depths into the light) The progression is all to obvious, its a modern day ritual casting a spell, mixed with chemical potions (drugs).....the chemical brothers.
@@splish.splash.splush i grew up a chemical brothers fan. Ive seen them a few times including Woodstock 99. Then I learned about occult imagery and how its woven into "EDC" culture and entertainment. How are rituals and "summoning" performed? Percussion, dance, repetition, psychedelics, imagery. People in the industry have openly spoke about it, but you somehow know better?
