m8 doesnt really make a difference...you will still end up on the most congested freeway in the country-the M5

Fantastic piece of infrastructure. Will be great when fully completed.

The M8 northbound delivers you to Gardeners Rd. From there to Anzac Pd you face a multitude of intersections and red lights. It’s slower to Randwick and Kingsford than M5 tunnel. And with tolls. Cleaner however.

#7 toll, people who use this tunnel are a sucker for punishment
