Took a trip to try and catch the Snowfas before they all melt. Managed to see 3 partially melted ones! And yes, that's a snow sofa, you got it.
Started at Main and Assiniboine, wandered to Carlton where we got up close with the Dalnavert Museum. Just GORGEOUS. Then along Broadway, up Memorial and across to the new Inuit Art Gallery, Qaumajuq. Got a great look inside the windows and caught the Northern Lights projection. Then made our way back to the river walk behind the Legislative building where the phone decided it was too full to keep going.
Places we passed by: Fort Garry Place, Bonnycastle Dog Park, Fete Ice Cream Cafe, Dalnavert Museum, Fools and Horses Coffee, Land Titles Office, Memorial Park, the Legislative Building, All Saints Church, Canada Life Building, The Winnipeg Art Gallery, The Inuit Art Centre Qaumajuq, the Riverwalk.
I just wanna give a shout out to @johnnystrides who likely doesn't know it but who has become my mini mentor by way of our chats in the comment sections. He's a Toronto based walker and he makes me miss our trips to TO with every video. ( / johnnystrides )
Also I mentioned a few other INCREDIBLE RU-vid creators so please, if you love New York, do yourself a favour and follow @TomDNYC ( / @tomdnyc1 ) for INSANE amounts of history and @Urbanist Exploring Cities (www.youtube.co.... Ariel takes you on leisurely walks where he stops for coffee and snacks and you somehow enjoy them as much as he does! Oh and I think I mentioned James and Carla too! A cool couple taking shots around New York (www.youtube.co...!
