Yaeven hey that's what 4 years of dogging on another platform will do to a certain group of people, especially when the narrative has recently shifted away from Resolution to Games., kinda makes people a little bitter and wants some payback.
Wipeout 2048/HD (which is what Omega collection is) on the Vita is awesome too and you can still play the PSP Pure and Pulse on it with a better analog stick. And one thing that is definitely a bonus over the PS3/PS4 versions is that it fits in my pocket to be played anywhere awesome.

Is there really much difference between this game on PS4 and PS4 Pro? I've watched a FF15 split screen comparison and couldn't see a difference really.

Um Playstation, Xbox, Switch, PC = 4. And yes I do understand the PC isn't necessarily a console it is certainly used as one by many. That's also not including mobile 3DS, Android, Iphone, Vita (added to the end as it does receive games still). And it also depends on how far you want to break it down, as you could add Linux and Mac to PC if you must. Not trying to put you down just adding clarity.
PS4 Pro hate is real on this channel's comment section. It's unreal! It's not maybe worth every penny for sure and you don't have to buy it, but I rather play these games at 4K or higher res/better framerates on my 4K TV and I can see the real difference compared to my original PS4, especially in games like this when you literally have four times the resolution. Could I have done without the Pro? Yes, I would have taken the real next-gen PS5 instead already but I want to play my PS4 games better and the Pro provides it to me at the moment, deal with it. No, I will not buy the Scorpio, I play my multiplats on PC.
I'll tell you what DF, I've watched quite a few WOC videos and the biggest difference is; whoever was playing the game actually knows how to play it. That made a massive difference to my enjoyment of this video. Cheers!
Yep I rather play down-sampling to 1080p for the best looking gameplay, here is a trick I recent bought a 27" beautiful monitor but it was 1080p I started to play and I notice why I bought this instead the ultra expensive options with 4K because I was able to see the dents on the lines and pixels around the draws in 3D then I tried render scaling or dynamic res however you want to call it put som 50% more like 150% scale rendering and woala no dents pixel or whatsoever the game just looked beautiful, I have tested 4K before even in a 24" monitor I can say I rather play with 150% in a 1080p with their frame rate rock solid than 4K having to downgrade to 80% to keep solid fps ;)
I played these games to death on the PS1 and Saturn. Looking forward to doing it all over again in 4K @ 60fps in 2017! Nice to see more 4k 60fps games on PS4 Pro at last.
Rich Tea Enjoy! It looks incredible on the pro with my 4K. One of my favorite pro supported games, it's definitely worth it. Most impressed i've been with a pro supported game beside The Last of Us (native 4k) and Horizon (upscaled checkerboard 2160p;4K)

The test of hardware technology has always been the standard for wipeout! 4K in its greatness beauty, with minor tweaks in "old" games. I hope this is just a warm up for a upcoming fresh wipeout. For convinience (i own all wipeout titles) and for historic perspective it could include (at least) the original trilogy. I'm waiting for more!
motion blur and depth of field shouldnt even be in any game options.. both looks like complete ass.. same goes for chromatic aberration.. all useless features which not only make games look alot worse but also tax your performance.. who ever thought of these is a complete and utter moron ffs
the problem with motion blur enabled is that everything is gonna be a blurry mess textures will be blurry it;s gonna look low res especially when using photomode.. depth of field makes it even worse

Audfile remasters are nothing to shout about. sony gets game after game... but most are shit and even the so called future classics dont get bought. sony just announced 3.5 mil sales of horizon zero dawn lmao. BlackJobZ I own both an Xbox and an RX580 PC Rig. Whatever comes to the platform I'll be able to enjoy and play. I don't have time pointing fingers at people saying, "Hahah, you have no exclusives" because I'm not 12 years old. But yeah, you do you, lmao.
This game does look fantastic, it's great to get to play WipEout again after missing PS3 games. The Vita 2048 was amazing on that device though 60fps is essential to this game. I am very tempted to upgrade to a 4K HDR screen though what worries me is the input lag. Even on Benq monitor with 1ms response switching to game mode is a noticeable improvement, do not want to compromise on that tactile contact with the experience.
Many xbox fanboys are talking about attach rate of game sales for playstation. Horizon zero dawn selling 3.5 million isn't that good for a user base of 60 million. However Gears 4 selling only about 3 million and having a user base of 30 million xbox and 120 million PC is atrocious. Also, keep in mind gears had more months to sell since it's been out longer and bundled.

I'd love to see full on remakes of the original PlayStation trilogy Wipeout, Wipeout 2097 and Wipeout 3. Like the Crash Bandicoot N' Sane Trilogy, too bad they fucked that up by keeping it at only 30 fps.
PS4: Wipeout omega WiiU/Switch: Fast Racing Neo / Fast RMX PC: Redout almost every platform has it's own wipeout sci fi racer. Now only Extreme G and Rollcage is missing.
Can somebody answer this question? Is there custom music being supported for the Omega Collection on PS4?? I would like to add my own custom music on there just like Wipeout HD on the PS3.
why is it so slow? just compare it with the good old n64 version, and the old version is looking much more "fast". all the textures and the speed is way better done, this version is looking really boring..
What a shame it is just a PS3 game which lets be honest still looks amazing and not a new WipEout or even a remaster of the original PS1 games. Seems this lot are wanking over it just because it is 4k rather than anything new or innovative.
Has anyone noticed that on Pro this game can't run at 60hz RGB in 4K due to HDMI 2.0 transfer speeds?. Start the game then enter PS4 Pro video settings and select video output information. It automatically switches it to YUV422 (hdr) due to transfer speeds limits with HDMI. It's still native 4K 60hz but not in full RGB.
