SSX 3 on XBOX ONE X in 4K. Got inspiration from MetalJesusRocks, and his SSX 3 video from a few years back, and thought I would do the same, but now in 4K with the Xbox One X. Enjoy!
Timeless game... playing this on Xbox One again, it still looks great and it's still just as fun as it was back in the day! Honestly more fun than most current games...
I just started SSX Tricky from scratch for the first time since it came out. All I've done since I got 100% completion is just replay the game with max stats but, I figured I should give myself a challenge for once in a while. Next on my list is SSX 3
@@xandermauldin9855 don't worry, you can play it on your android phone, install the PS2 app emulator called "aethersx2" then download ssx games you want and other PS2 games . Just watch videos of the download tutorials here in youtube for the infos you need
I loved this video. SSX 3 is one of my favourite games of all time. 10:29 - there was nothing better than getting a perfect turn & carving that snow perfectly.
There may be some hope there Oliver... seeing how Tony Hawk 1+2 just got an *actually good* remake... perhaps one day we'll see one from SSX Tricky/3 combined as well... Lord knows I'd buy that day one if it's nearly as good as the Tony Hawk remakes!
Just picked this game up. Runs and plays great on xbox. However, having to use x y b for board grabs and x for boost is awful. Would be cool if they gave non elite controller users the ability to remap the controls.
I have always wanted PlayStation to do backwards and only because I want to play this game on PlayStation... i want it bad... i grow up on this and I just want my childhood memories back
I'm not very good at this. I'm currently using the pro control layout, should I try the default? When is best to use the jump button? Near the crest or earlier? How can I do tricks without being off axis or too late? Thanks
I've never tried the pro control layout, but with the default layout, I turn with the left analog stick, and when I am about to jump I switch to the d-pad and like preload the spin trick I want to do.. so basically when you're in the air you only use d-pad, you need to get a feel for when to let go of the d-pad so that you land correctly, you should notice that once you let go your character will sort of automatically adjust for landing... With regards to take off, when you have your eyes on a jump, make sure you are heading it straight on, this is when you should push and hold the jump button A and usually I will also hold down boost button X to get some extra speed for the jump! This also where you would preload your spin on the d-pad, and once you reach just before the peak of a kicker let go of the face buttons A and X and start using triggers and B and Y to do grab tricks... Haven't played in a while so hopefully I remember the buttons more or less in my head, hope this helps! ;)
The fact that this game is over 20 years old and that no other snowboarding game has even come remotely close to topping it, is honestly pretty pathetic. 3 new consoles since this release...
I wish SSX On Tour would get a re-release...it NEEDS it. Its load times were so awful on the PS2, even to just redo a 10 second challenge, I just abandoned the game.
No i didn't ;) Wouldn't have any reason to when i have an Xbox One X and a copy of SSX3. I haven't even heard of an OG Xbox emulator.. I used to play SSX 3 on PCSX2 until they released back compat for SSX 3 on Xbox...
It doesn't feel the same when i played either the original xbox or the 360 i haven't touched my one in like 8 months. No fun the party chats are shit and paying £40 a year to go online it just feels deflated to how i felt years ago.
Fair enough i respect your opinion, however I feel that this generation Xbox has been the most forward thinking and the best at implementing features that are pro-consumer, such as Play Anywhere, Cross Play and Backwards Compatibility.. Sure I understand peoples complaints about there not being enough exclusives for the platform, but seems like Phil Spencer has it under control with all the new studios Microsoft has purchased. But in an ideal world no games should be exclusives, games for everyone is better imho :)
