I think this is what Howard Ashman wanted originally in the film of Aladdin but never really saw it since he passed. I do appreciate Disney using the lyric for the TV and towards the other Aladdin films. But I believe to honor Ashman's wish and imagination... the broadway show encompassed what he truly wanted to the story to be. Only one thing that is missing... Aladdin's mother. For some reason, she's just not present and they've been trying to put her in physical and with every time Disney has attempted it, it just hasn't worked. But the nice touch of mentioning it in "Proud of your boy" is a good tribute.
Makes no sense to have the opening story teller the genie, it’s become the genie show with Aladdin as a secondary character, despite billing. Ridiculous

The part where the genie pulls out something else and says it was pre show shopping? I did wonder what the genie first pulled out before he went for the lamp
Posting anything Disney will get your clip taken down and possibly your account closed. I def wouldnt recommend it. They're super dilegent about that. And this clip still comes up when you search Aladdin Tour, so the "deceptive" name title isnt really deceptive. Just saying.
Sadly, RU-vid is fairly lax about taking copywrited things down ... Disney as you said used to be quite diligent about it ... but even they seem to have looked away recently - ... SMH
@@williamshryock1784 It comes spurts, theyll come for this believe me, I already saw a lion king about year old taken down. And Dear Evan Hansen boots all came down recently though it had been there for many many many months.
