The only issue I see in this is you didn’t fill the torque converter first unless and I thought it was supposed to be pushed back and turn to drop back a couple times unless you did that off camera. also you’re supposed to lube the front of the torque converter and the rear of the converter so you don’t get leakage
Great video time lapses, camera angles, narration !! $2500 not bad for rebuilt trans & parts but I imagine about 8 hrs of labor. How many miles so far and any problems? I've been thinking about getting a 2010 Express with maybe 200K miles but was worried about transmission cost & issues with AFM on the engine and variable valve timing issues. And next time turn the vol way down on the music so barely audible.
Great video but time lapse music is not helpful, don't get me wrong I like music but for a how to video not helpful too loud and distracting. Good and informative though thanks
When dropping the transmission how did you address the dipstick tube? Is it just held in with a seal? Does simply lowering the transmission cause the tube to slide out?
Hi Skyland Did you have to reprogram the computer? Because I want to buy a transmission in the auto zone and the specifications indicate did I need Vehicle specific flash programming you did it? I don’t wanna mess with it if I need to do that. It’s for 09 Chevy express 3500
