If your truck was a little earlier on scene with how close the fire was to the road the roof turret could have been used with its reach. I love the spilt cam helmet cam view. Also this why I respect police officers firefighters and emts at the explosion time stamp u can see the helmet cam firefighter get momentarily rattled by the explosion but git back his composure and went back in while civs backed off
Indeed though according to the crew, if they didn't stop by a 711 to buy some refreshments after responding to the fire in Makati City, they may have been one of the very first responders to the scene. Helmet camera footage was great for this response. We only have 2 units so it's pretty hit or miss as it depends on the firefighter using the system. For the explosion, very true esp to the veterans. You can notice one of the senior BFP officers (in the station uniform and red helmet) barely flinching and continuing about his task even amidst the explosion.
Are you are firetrucks equipped with extrication equipment you know the ones to get people out of car accidents? And ropes, first aid kits, spinal boards etc?
Yes, both trucks are equipped with Holmatro extrication tools. Silvertip has a battery operated combination spreader/cutter while Sea Dragon is equipped with hydraulic speader, cutter, and ram (these will be transferred to Blue Whale once she arrives).
@@BumberenzoTheFireEngine Sea Dragon will be slated to be retired once Blue Whale is operationalized. Currently there are talks to donate it to another Mandaluyong City Barangay Fire Brigade.
