The Afro-Caribbean Festival’s mission is to celebrate, showcase, heritage, and promote local and international talents from the Afro-Caribbean Diaspora.
The Afro-Caribbean Cultural Festival is a step towards the elimination of discrimination, racism, and prejudice, with a priority for those targeted against Indigenous Peoples, racialized women, and girls. It is festivals and events like these that are beneficial in promoting community support, multiculturalism, and anti-racism initiatives.
This interaction, through the inclusion and welcoming of diverse Canadians, will help to increase participants' sense of belonging and attachment to Canada.
Please join us Monday, Sept 4th at The Metropolitan, 3840 Finch Ave, Scarborough for a day of festivities and celebration of each other!
Thank you to the Afro-Caribbean Festival & Moksha Canada Foundation for making this a community endeavour!
