@@3DHPThank you for your response. I am new to this world. Do you know if this machine is a CNC Router or a CNC milling? I have read that the second ones are more precise while making small details.

one issue we found is when lettering, the letters carve mirror imaged upside down. A+ turns the chuck clockwise as viewed from the tailstock. this needs to be reversed, A+ should turn the top of the part toward the front of the machine, counterclockwise. there is a $= system setting for this. $3= sets binary bits for axis rotation X,Y,Z,A. default value is $3=4 (0010 binary) reverses the Z axis (0=normal 1=reversed). to reverse A axis as well set $3=12 (0011 binary) reversing the Z and A axis. to see all of the system settings send $$. NOTE: I believe that the remote control unit needs to be plugged in and set to 4th axis mode to be able to set $3= from Candle or UGS. see Anthony Lofthouse RU-vid channel
