Nice work bro, respect from Toronto. I still have my '99 SE 5MT, '96 GLE, and my big brother has his '95 SE 5MT (TLMNICK), which only see hot summer days. I'm definitely looking into a 3.5 swap for my '99 as well, it's a great engine for this platform.

nice . daily drove a i35 prtty much 5.5 gen max was great, exp compared to a gutted s13 lol finally moved up to a q50 now, im not used to heavy cars 4k lbs lolz. best of luck 2 ya n shes clean. 🔥🔥

Cant figure out the timing, i have the cam adapters, but need guidance on installing, and trying to verify cam lob orientation and how all that comes together. Do you have any pictures of yours? I’ve found that the vq30 isn’t as modifiable as the vq35. You could try some ss headers, ported intake manifold, throttle body/intake spacer to help reduce intake temperatures slightly and possibly a tune if you can find someone or know how to yourself. Other than that, you’ll find more performance in swapping with the vq35.
Hi, I have a question i have a 98 maxima 5 speed my motor is blown would a 2001 infiniti i30 3.0L fit what modifications would i need? Or it wont fit? Thanks
Don't know how I missed this question, sorry about that. Only mod u need is an adapter for the throttle body to use yours from your 98 max to the 2001 engine. Everything else is the same

I literally just test drove a 2020 Nissan 3.5 maxima last week was going to Trade in my Nissan Maxima 2001 with 158k miles Zero problems or issues No engine light and Runs 10x better than any car that this guy had in his car lot anyways when i floored it in the 3.5 maxima the car didn't go anywhere lol barely i was like omg this thing is a piece of shit lol and it had a ticking sound just awful motor or it was about to blow up i honestly don't know lol i just gave the guy the keys back and was like hell no i'm good!
I drove a 2022 pathfinder rental car and this new 3.5 has some guts to it, even in a 4000+ lbs suv. I can only imagine what it would be like in a lighter chassis.
