Putting your boiled eggs in a margarine container after cooking is just such a "grandma" thing to do! 😂😂😂 I bet everyone has a gramma who did that. ❤❤❤
Russet potatoes are sometimes known as Idaho potatoes in the United States, but the name Idaho Potato is trademarked by the Idaho Potato Commission and only potatoes grown in the state of Idaho can legally be referred to by that name.
My nana used country crock and my mama uses butter only… nana was so fun and glamorous that I thought country crock was gourmet 😆🤣 I still get a craving for it now and then. And I save containers like a granny for sure!
Loved this video!! Definitely going to make the baked beans and cheese cakes. I too love ANY drink in a wine glass. That comment of yours made me giggle. Happy Fourth to you and your sweet family!
I seen on an Early American episode that when making Lemonade from 1800's that they used egg whites and a single egg yolk boiled along with the lemon juice and orange juice with the zest from both. Then put through a cheesecloth to strain and then to cool. Never thought eggs were used to make Lemonade back in the day 🤔 Along with some other spices boiled. 😮
Great tips to make potato salad quick and easy! I grew up on VanCamps pork and beans. My hubby grew up on Campbells pork and beans. Campbells doesn't have that little square of pork fat like Van Camps has always near the top of the can. My brothers and sisters used to fight over that little hunk of pork fat! ha ha
I came back to your vid to thank you for the fruit pizza recipe, I used it for our reunion's kids table and those lil ones ate and ate til it was gone...made me happy and I got a request for my cousin's birthday 😂😊🥰 you're awesome
How long do you boil your potatoes for when you make your potato salad? I love potato salad but have never made my own as I’m intimidated to make it, I’m afraid I will overcook my potatoes & it will be mush! Loved all the recipes! The fruit pizza is one of my favorites (as is veggie pizza!) but I have to have a lot of different fruits on mine. I love kiwi on it especially but those boogers are a pain to peel! Also, I got an egg slicer from Pampered Chef a long time ago & love to use it to slice my eggs & fruit! I just slice my egg, flip the egg & it chops it into pieces. It’s so easy to clean & takes seconds to use it!
It only one person gets the piece with blueberries uncles you cut that corner into small multiple pieces or have a container of them so they can be added to the others
Ive never made potato salad before but I wanted to try your recipe and it was a hit. I got several compliments on it, put the recipe in my phone and will definitely be making it again!
I love the way you make your potato salad and the egg trick is something I never would have thought of.oh my goodness, everything looks fantastic Kristen 😊 thank you for sharing what you put on your family's dinner table 😊 Happy Fourth of July you guys.stay safe, happy and healthy 🙏🤗🙏😊❤❤❤
Ha I boil my eggs in with the potatoes too. Yes to dill and salad supreme. Our tater salad is literally the same. No sweet! Watched your video while I was cooking bacon for broccoli salad and starting potato salad for the fourth. Love when it sits over nite. Have a great week!
The potato salad & beans had my mouth watering. Looked so good. That's my go-to sausage as well & you're right, it never throws off that much grease. Hope you enjoy your 4th.❤🤍💙
Bring it up to “bull” and let it “bull” by itself for a few minutes….I feel if able to pronounce “bowl” properly one should be able to pronounce “boil” properly as well 🤷🏻♀️ it’s pronounced “boy-el”😊
Hey, I just sent my kid to summer camp with hot food, steamed the water to set the container and added the hot mac and cheese. We will see how she did with it...thanks for sharing...
