Happy 4th of July to everyone who celebrates!! This can also work with other countries, too! Or you can change the colors to whatever you please! Of course, if you'd prefer the sponging technique, go for it! I like to mix it up and since sponging glitter can be a little messy even with liquid latex, I decided to do it this way as an alternative. Oh and if you're wondering why I added with metallic base color, it's so the red and blue polishes will pop without having to add multiple layers to make it opaque. i like to mix it up! a lot of people have trouble with sponging, plus when working with glitter it can be a little messy and really stick to the skin even if you're using liquid latex :)

Hey Hannah! These look AMAZING! I was wondering.... what if we painted the red first, Then brushed some silver half way down the nail and then finish off with blue on the tip..... Have a nice day

you can do that too! but the reason i apply the silver for the base color is because the red and blue polishes pop more without having to add a bunch of layers to make it opaque :)

Sponging is great! But since I've run into a lot of people who have issues with sponging, I've done this alternative technique to show how quick and easy it can be, as well! Sometimes sponging glitter can be a little messy even with liquid latex and tends to sticks to the skin, etc.. but you can definitely do it either way! :)

sure! you can definitely do that. i just like to mix it up since a lot of people actually have trouble sponging. plus with glitter it can be a little messy even when using liquid latex so it takes a bit longer with clean up etc :)
