I went to an MLS Soccer Game at the Rose Bowl on the 4th of July 2023. It was LA Galaxy Vs LAFC. It was an awesome game with great atmosphere and record attendance of 82,000+
This game was so great. After what the Galaxy fans have been going through all season with their protest, it was nice to finally see a lot of them show up to cheer on their team.
I mainly go to baseball games but like to throw in other sports from time to time, including soccer, American football, etc. It was a great atmosphere and probably would not have gone if I didn't get free tickets from someone who couldn't go.
1:06 the Galaxy originally played at the Rose Bowl from 1996 up until 2003 when they moved to Dignity Health Sports Park. This was their attempt to use a big rivalry and break the all time league attendance record. BTW this game was originally supposed to be played in February but was postponed due to rain.
Great vlog! I'm from northern California so not a big fan of either team 😅 but I really enjoyed this video and hearing your perspective! Also I'm pretty sure that the LA Galaxy player Tyler Boyd's parents/family were sitting right there in front of you at the very beginning and through the game. That was kinda cool to see them celebrate when their son scored that first crazy goal for the galaxy!
This was actually my 1st ever MLS soccer game. Got the tickets from an LA Galaxy season ticket holder who couldn't attend the game. To answer your question of whether I'm a fan of LA Galaxy or LAFC, I really went just as a neutral to watch the game and record the experience. I am really more into baseball as you can tell by my channel but do go to other sporting events here and there and record the experience.
have you even check the west standings. Everything is almost squared up. Galaxy can move into playoff contention anytime now while LAFC can drop all the way to 8th place 😂
