I wonder if you drilled large holes through the side of the hub and small holes in the OD (braking surface) if it would aid in cooling like a drilled brake rotor
@@Toolingabout yes you can cross drill holes on the braking surface of the drum to help cool it, it also gives the water somewhere to go to help prevent brake fade. I have cross drilled drums for older from drum brake cars in the past just for this reason. Just don't get carried away with to many holes lol.
Yep, Ike's fat a$$ requires it. Additionally, I am sure they weigh more than the engine/etc. in the front thus the need for a more aggressive spring in the rear to actually have a level ride height vice the squat they now have.
I love these power wheels builds, maybe you can put the steering forward on the other side of that bar and go through the engine plate to make a little more room?
I’ve always wondered why the rear shocks are at such a steep angle, it essentially defeats the spring, placing it closer to straight up and down would make it not sag as much and allow the springs and shocks to do their jobs more effectively.
grind hard plumbing co lengthened there Barbie jeep and it looks great. so did rather b welding. it would make Ike look less like king Kong in the bronco.
Its know wonder the rear is soft with them shocks so layed down, you would have to have twice as much spring to make it as stiff as a shock standing up.
When you are changing gearing. Changing the small sprocket in the equation has a greater effect than changing the large one. Example, if you have a 12 tooth clutch and a 60 tooth wheel, you will get a 5 times the change adding or removing one tooth to the clutch versus adding or removing one tooth to the wheel.
Uhh, no. It’s not 5 times the change. Yes a tooth difference on the smaller gear will have more of an effect than a tooth on the larger gear but no where near 5 times. The gear ratio is calculated by dividing the number of teeth of the driving gear by the number of teeth of the driven gear. Doesn’t matter which is changed, it’s always that formula to calculate the change.
Honda isnt giving away. Any 250's or 450's . but go powersports gives them 212's all day. . . the yx engines like in thexCT70's would be loads of fun also. Most of which are 4speed. Manual. .
Love watching you should test putting red shocks in the back as you weigh more than the engine so it will then all react smoother and potentially keep that wheel down
I thought some of y’all would appreciate this I’m welding a walk behind tiller to the back of a four wheeler and welding four wheeler hubs to the plows so I’m building a new four wheeler
But right now they can lay claim to having the smallest four wheel drive Power Wheels go kart build on You Tube. plus they are trying to keep the power to weigh ratio as good as they can. I can say for them but would be a guess.
It's a good thing y'all lengthened that little Bronco. :-P Drop the front end in a big hole and me thinks you will do a forward flip. Forward flips with machines are not fun; I've had experience with that.
*** WAS JUST THINKING, WHILE WATCHING THIS VID " WHAT KIND OF FAN ARE YOU? MORE LIKE JOHN, OR MORE LIKE IKE.? " * ME PERSONALLY.? IM MORE LIKE JOHN..AND MY OLD LADY SAID WE KINDA LOOK ALIKE, TOO.
The next time you guys make a mini cart why don't you guys use an all-wheel drive ATV take the body off and use the frame of the ATV and make it into a cart and off-roading cart it's an idea try it out
Some jackass lawyer would sue them for copyright infringement. But they probably COULD say "I'm Ginger" and "I'm Mary Ann"! 😂 Those names aren't copyrighted.
I love how when John does something by his self he acts like he just did something so difficult that he needs to explain bc god I know it don’t take common sense to do what he does.😅
gotta pad the video time for that sweet revenue, sucks but making stuff is expensive even with all their sponsors. you see that the videos more than doubled in length but have the same or less actual content. hell they used to have 1 or two part builds in like 20 min total. just skip the BS and ads and buy a hat or something. but yeah, the constant filler explanations get annoying, I do have eyes. 4:34 brakes brakes brakes 4:51, 6:41 MORE BRAKES 7:49 but yea i just skip that sort of stuff, gotta appeal to the youtube (broken) \/ algorithm (not really relevant but it needs to be shared so it can get fixed) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ej0Kijd4_4Q.html&t
Yeah, outboard foot pegs would be MUCH more comfortable, and bar mounted throttle and brake a lot easier to control. But did ya ever notice, they don't take our suggestions on anything?
That comparison will be awesome. The original four engine 4-wheel drive build is the reason I came to your Channel and have been a subscriber ever since.
I’d say you need to change the springs in the torque converter so you can get that high rpm strong launch, and wheelies without sacrificing too much top seed
