Today's update is the point where I start to break away from the content in the tutorial series. I have added units, abilities, turns, and a bunch of other stuff. Next steps: cities and turn phases.
I decided to start this project because in my opinion, turn based 4x strategy games are super fun, but they translate really abrasively into multiplayer, with horrible balance, combat that either takes insanely long or removes the turn based aspect of the game, and games that can last for over 6 hours. I want a 4x game that works better for multiplayer, and could even have some sort of competitive scene that's not just full of stuff being banned. Yknow what they say, if you want something done right, do it yourself.
